ooh, shapu blog...

4 pages were found not using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). These pages are likely to be either very old or not well designed. CSS enables better, more consistant control over layout and design, and has been commonplace since 2000.

Go away. Since when does web design rate on the basis of the technology it uses, rather than the end result?

4 pages were found to be completely, or nearly completely devoid of text.

Text may appear to the human eye, either in images or Flash animations. However Google and other search engines will be unable to find this text.

Unless they're counting login pages / redirects, I don't see what that can be referring to.

Hey, the W3C wants everything to be standards-compliant. You must be standards-compliant. You are getting very sleepy - you want everything to be compliant....yes...sleepy....compliance...

Don't call me dear. You're not that much older than me.
Alright, fine. It's not a Language, but it's something you have to perfect, like a Language.

Back on track, I tried the Family Force 5 site, just for the heck of it.

Language is not a proper-noun therefor does not need to be capitalised, unless it is at the start of a sentence.

Anyway - going back on topic please...

There are so many websites out there that are imperfect... perhaps one day I shall make the perfect site... *ponders* That would be a very noble aspiration.

I think all webpages break the disability discrimination act because they're not accessible to blind people.

I think they mean a website that can work with a program to read the html aloud so blind people can hear what is going on as they mouse around or click.

Take this for whatever it's worth, but I was playing around with my crappy freewebs site that's intended for another online community, Petz. It's ubber crappy as they come because it's focus is for people to download my hexed files and nothing else. I'm not winning any beauty contest there. :P

Sorry I couldn't show the link here. I guess the freewebs server is blocked on this forum? I wonder why?

analized
(you have to type the Freewebs part of the url in place of the link not allowed if you want to see the full analized portion)

Excellent
British legal requirements All webpages were found to be fully compliant with the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and therefore likely not in violation of the British Disability Discrimination Act.

Odd. :o I must had done something right that I don't know about. They rip appart everything else on it though. :roflol: The other pages on the site are a different story. Most of the things that bring down the rating for compliance appear to be the fault of Freewebs, not my page.

You really have to see the page to see how bad it is. Like Bull terriers BTW? Just felt like posting an image from my site. :P It's a hexed breed I made for the game.
Image I think I'll stop now.
