Badminton...

Well, one of my friends and I want to get a badminton team started at our school. We've been told to talk to the athletic director but we're not really sure how to. On top of that we dont know how much support we'd get, and we dont want to look stupid either, can ya'll give us any help? It'd be greatly appreciated

It's not much worth it if no other schools around you have teams. I'd check into that, and if a considerable number of schools do have teams, that'd be a good reason for the athletic director to consider your cause.
