Having said all that, we all might want to prepare ourselves mentally for the last two constellations. Since neither constellation finder or mapper has "tracked" the last two, TNT might have something special in store for us. So put your Astronomy Thinking Caps on, and think of the probabilities (ahem, not possibilities, that lends only to speculation and gossip).

wherever that came from, it's me that's posting crackpot theories. see "that post about the weird Altador loves DK theory" for details.
ps: i mean darkest faerie, not donkey kong ;)

I found these constellations from before we found the collector. As I said, I hadn't found the protector, but all the others are in exactly the same spot with exactly the same stars. Don't know if the other stars have moved or not; I haven't really cared. I do know that the stars are at least in the same general location ever since then, and that the star area has mearly expanded. Oddly enough, there are stars in all four extremes of the map. Not that helpful, but certainly an oddity.

So, yeah, I repeat my comment on wanting to find this last constellation on someone else's map. If you don't believe me, or doubt it's validity, prove me wrong.

Oh, darn, 'cause for second there I was envisioning Dr. Sloth coming back and like trying to round up all the Myncis to turn them into mutants and ...

Just kidding, I actually enjoy the occasionally theories on plots overall, artistically, I just meant if we are all thinking together on this, we might want to stay in the range of "possible things that TNT could and might make us to" (more mechanically as in how we would play in a browser) as some of the theories often posted are a little "out there" sometimes, but so far the last few have been progressively more difficult. Hence the "what more is even left for them to do?" postulation. Perhaps it will just be a notch harder than the last, plus us having to find our stars without the aid of a mapper or plotter. That would be the nicest thing to do. :P

I'm kind of curious, what about the Janitor? He's so "familiar". Could he possibly have a larger role in all this? Other than the kau mentioning him as a cousin, and the bursts of anger, we aren't told much about him.

Could he be Jeranda? seems very unlikely though. doesn't really fit the description

As mentioned earlier, he was in the Lost Desert Plot. Since I didn't really participate in that one (I did get 1000 points in it somehow tho, hehe), I didn't recognize him either, until someone mentioned his appearance in the other plot.

Yeah, he was the Yurble foreman at the Lost Desert Scrollery. He was famous for his bouts of anger and almost never being happy. I'm sure he had a small following, either in fan club or hate club (not entirely sure which).

And for the record, the farmer who is a cousin to the janitor was a Moehog, not a Kau.

I hope the next constellation will be out soon. I predict we'll have the next two in the following two weeks and not all in this week.

Unfortunately I never played that plot, but I do agree, and I certainly wouldn't have found the clue. Who would sit behinde the comp for 30 + minutes clicking the same things over and over again without result.

Couldn't there also be something about the order of the clues? Why else would that be written down to look up at any given time

So if you forgot how the clue looks like you can just check it and you don't have to heal the petpet/ click the punch/ steal the plushies.

Oh, I stand corrected on both accounts. :battar: I hadn't participated in the Lost Desert Plot. I didn't know about Neopets until the end of last year  .

You need to do that anyways, and you only get the clues after you did that... otherwise you could as well tell us all now what the next constellation is :)

EDIT:
Where on earth can you guys find hints in the news? I can't find any clue whatsoever anywhere... and yes, I did check the old news features ;)

I'm just thinking: why? is there anything about the order in which it happened?

Talking about the constellations, on my star chart, all the constellations are centered in the map. I have at least some clue where the new one will be, because they don't stray all that far out. Is that just my luck (cuz I've been pretty damn lucky with a lot of the clues. Like, the second punch I chose was right.)?

Also, I don't know if this has been thought of, but what about a hide-and-seek type game for the Hunter? That would be pretty user specific about where a certain pet is hidden on the map, per se? Kind of what they did with the last petpet.
