My favorite random phrases are:

Unfortunately, this one often gets other barnyard animal responses... but it's really a family in-joke because of the joke...

interrupting cow.
(interrupti--) MOO!!!!

Get it? it interrupts? So my dad started just walking around the house randomly interrupting with moos. And then we just started bellowing moo at each other to interrupt when we were feeling belligerent. Then we just started sneaking up and mooing. and basically now we just moo whenever we don't have anything better to say.

so, it's really aggravating when someone replies "oink" or "quack" or something, because the real reply to "moo." is "MOOO!!!!!!!"

Hee! I like: "Damn dirty hippies," and referring to patchouli as "hippie stink."

I also love the phrases "losing structural integrity" and "just a skosh."

My friends and I said "that's the pot calling the kettle black" often enough that we shortened it to "pot, kettle, black," and finally to "PKB."

One of my friends always says, "be smarter than the (blank)." So if I drop the phone, she tells me to be smarter than the phone. It makes me giggle.

And my favorite responses to pretty much anything:

"I can't be bothered."
"Good luck with alllll that."
