That to me seems to be the crux of the problem, what I would like is an option to turn off the "email pin" option - when my account got cracked a few months ago what happened was my hotmail account got broken into. This was pre-pin but if it had been after I still would have been in trouble because they could just email themselves the pin...

I personally have an email acct that I use solely for registration and password retrievals. I don't take any emails to it so even if someone managed to break into my email accounts they knew about, all they'd get would be correspondence since none of my registered accts send to it. Something like that anyway:P It seems to work for me as I've never been broken in to.
