Dawn's right. Chris is the most popular, and that's probably why this season was the most popular.

I'm very happy that he won. SOUL PATROL.

Of course Chris will outsell them. He was by far one of the most popular contestants on the show.

The thing with Taylor... his grey hair and his freaking WOOWOOWOOWOOWOO SOUL PATROOOOOOOOL was okay in the beginning, but it lost its novelty by week three. It's like, just shut up already. Taylor is definitely more of a visual artist: if you listen to some of his songs, they stink horrendously; if you watch the videos, they are good.

I had no novelty to begin with.

But, seriously...

My family gets together once a week. To eat dinner? No. To watch American Idol.

So, at the end of every one of Taylor's performance, I would wave my fist around and shout, "SOUL PATROL!" about six times. And then Taylor would do it. And then my mom would look at me in disbelief and ask, "Mark, how did you know he would do that?" And I would scowl to myself and think that it's the same darn thing he does each week.

I know this is going to make all of you mad, because it's incredibly shallow, but it's true... So here it goes.

Taylor will lose appeal because he's not eye candy. We've gotten to the point in which we think we like people for their talent, but subconciousl we like them for their looks... But that's just my opinion. He's a good performer, but not singer. While Kat is and okay performer, and an awesome singer.

Woooooooooooooooooo!

That show last night was GREAT!

I loved all of the performers, the celebrities, and seeing all of the previously eliminated idols!
One of the best parts was when that Clay Aiken lover guy came out and started singing then the real Clay Aiken came out from behind. (AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED HOW GOOD LOOKING CLAY IS!!!?!?)

The best part was definatly seeing Taylor win! I love him!

D: It's okay. I didn't exactly direct that towards you. It was more directed at the fact that Taylor probably won because he stayed in first place for just about starting from top 24. Katherine only picked up momentum afterwards.

Not exactly true, Taylor is sort've like Eye Candy. (In my opinion anyways). I'm sure a lot of girls squeal over Elliot or Taylor.

Hey, did any of you guys watch Conan? One of the guys on their staff looked just like Taylor and he went out on the streets imitating him and saying "YEAH! SOUL PATROL!" People believed it was him, even though Taylor wouldn't be in New York the day of the finale. (I'm looking for the video, if I find it I'll show you!)

Taylor has a great voice too, there's no doubt in my mind that he will be successful. I don't think he'll really be too mainstream or on MTV or anything, but he can still be successful.

And since I STILL can't get over how hot Clay's new hair is, pic for those who haven't seen it.

Or perhaps his new style was to hide the embarrassing fact that he was Clay Aiken.
