The ray produces a giant flash of light, but screams doesn't look any different. When it can't even climb the Multi-level Scratching Post you bought it, you realize that malfunctioning lab ray actually decreased its level to: 1

I am getting way too many rare petpets in a very short amount of time. Only my Babaa left to zap! There's now way I'm zapping my Krawk!

According to my research, the Graffle is unreleased, and the Peedleedoo is worth 25M NP from that 1 trade. :/
