So this might take a while...

Incase the same thing has happened as it did with the Vaelous thingy and the space in the page, are people just getting room urls with simple x and y axis numbers and then nothing or things like this
http://www.neopets.com/altador/archives.phtml?
goarch=7512346a1964a55cca37e35c63be6cc0&arcx=3&
arcy=40&cmhv=f18548e10caf280316e4a02e5ee98dad
and then for books is this...natural? http://www.neopets.com/altador/archives.phtml?

How do I change the coordinates to check all the books? And how do I know which rooms to check?

I may just throw the keyboard through the monitor. 5 freakin' hours I've been at this!!! It's insane! Why can't TNT make it the same for everyone? Make it nice and level?
I've given up on Avant again. I was doing two rooms, when it could barely load one.
This is driving me nuts... I think the monitor would look nice with something sticking out of it...
EDIT: I'm taking a break. I'm going food shopping, to see if it clears my head at all -_-

For what it's worth, I was in room 21, 12 when I found my book (for all my griping, I didn't think it would be that quickly).
A recap, based on what I have read, about finding the book:
1) Click the door handle in the altadorian archive lobby to reach the archives. You will be in room 0, 0.
2) Click the top or right-hand door to enter a new room. You will be in room 0, 1 or room 1, 0. If you are confused about these room coordinates, look at the URL for the room and notice where it says "arcx=" and "arcy="
3) Change the x and y to 3 and 3. This is the lowest room people have said they have found their correct book.
4) Click your mouse cursor in the bold text reading "Altadorian archives." Then press the tab button four times...this will cycle you through the doors.
Press tab three more times to get to book number 3. This is the first book you will investigate. Press CTRL+Enter to open the link in a new tab (firefox is great for this...I tried it with IE, and it kept losing my place in the room, so I'd have to start over). Press tab three more times...this will take you to book number 6, and investigate this book, and so on.
There are 31 books in the room. You will only need to look at a total of ten of them (counting from the first book your tabbing will select, you will look at book numbers 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, and 30). Apparently, one person has found their book as number 10, so you may want to check all books in any given room.
5) Once you have investigated and ruled out all of the books, go to the next room by changing x and y in your browser URL box. Change it to a multiple of three - so from (6, 6), go to room (6, 9) and so on until you reach (6, 21). Then, change x and y to (9, 6) and go through room (9, 21), then room (12, 6) and so on. The highest room people have found books in as far as I know is room (21, 21), though I have also heard of someone finding it in (15,24), so you may want to continue on through the higher numbers if you haven't found it yet.
None of this information is my original info...it's gleaned from reading what's been going on so far.

I just saw someone on the neoboards saying they found their book at 15, 24 or a similar dimension, so it seems the books go higher than 21, 21.
