Donate them to people on forums (on or off neo) who help people regularly.

I'm sure some of PPT's members are itching to lend a grubby paw.

GIVE US YER STUFF!! xDD

Only problem with self freezing, is when the account is frozen for too long, TNT are unable to reactivate it. I learned this the hard way ;__;

Actually, he said he didn't want to go insane from giving every single item away.

How about this for an idea:

Make up a list for us greedy little rats to pick from. We could then send requests for lots and you could put them on the TP and let us take them for junk that you can just scrap. I don't know the limit on the TP, but it could help cut it down considerably.

Hope you consider this idea (rubs hands together eagerly)

Haha. Yeah, we're just a bunch of greedy little buggers sometimes. XD; Personally, I wouldn't mind a couple things, I'm attempting to save for a royal paint brush. ;)

That, or you could just self-freeze. If you're never going to want the account back, it might be best...

If you ever, ever want to come back later, then you'd have to go through a fresh restart, and that might stop you from doing so right away, so it might help with your obsession. ^^"

Honestly I've grown too attached to my account over the years (6 years next month =3). There have been periods of 6 months or so where I've just clicked in a couple days to keep the account active, but never actually done anything. I've been so busy right now, all I do is check my stocks, use the lab ray, and check any plots that're going on. XD;

Maybe take up the stockmarket and leave it to doing just that on the site? (it's just about 5 minutes a day, for people like me) Then if you feel like returning you could have tons of NP. XD;

I think everyone (if they are honest) would like something, especially if it's free.

If you want to save all that clicking then dump it in the money tree.

I like the suggestion of bidding nice stuff for random TP junk (cuz it's a fun surprise for a stranger). Maybe you could do that for your nicest stuff (you can put 20 things at a time), and then donate the rest to the money tree. Good luck with college!! (I'm glad I hadn't discovered neopets in college, although I did find plenty of other ways to procrastinate)

I think I will dump it on the money tree; 70 items at a time looks like the most efficient thing. Giving it away individually would take a very very long time, I think. I'll post right before I begin the proccess of quickstocking it all. The money tree is always kind of a crapshoot, and so's my inventory. Usually it's just junk there, so this will be interesting.

and I'm still hoping someone will want to adopt Alethia129, but that's in the adoption thread...

Meh, lost fiveish years of work by being hacked, a paintbrush would be really nice. But then again, your choice. The problem with the money tree is it's used by new players who will probably either sell the items for too cheap or quit Neopets after a short while. The best thing to do is make a list and have people pm you.

I wanted to quit Neopets as well some time ago, but I'm glad I didn't. I'll be going to college in Septembe if everything goes according to plan, but I don't have the heart to give up my account. You're a bigger person than I am, that's for sure ^^

I kinda like the money tree idea (but not that much, because you never know who the items are going to -- may be some newbie who will quit in a day, or one of those annoying money-tree squatters), and I also like the idea of taking your more expensive items, finding some relatively low-priced items on the TP, and bidding your nice stuff on them -- sort of a nice surprise for some random neopetters. Even if you just did that with some of your better items and donated the rest, it would be nice.

If you don't want to set up a giveaway here (and it is a lot of work) but do want to donate to some PPTers instead of the Neopian community at large, you could just toss all your items up on the TP in groups of 5 or 10 or whatever and accept a trade from the first person to bid a pink poogle toy (one trade per person, though). But that's your choice, so don't feel pressured into it by anyone here. These are your items and your pet and you can dispose of them any way you see fit.

Cranberry, I like your trading post idea. off to do that; you're right about the money tree, and I've got no classes today, but I'm stuck in the comp. lab, so might as well.

so yeah... bid a pink poogle toy. First come...

ppt has been enormously helpful for the last two plots for me anyway, so I guess it's fitting.

clarification guys:

I don't want NP, I don't want actual valuable stuff. Post offers w/o np, and if there's stuff, only junk (a la rotten left boots); or pink poogle toys. I'll put the pink poogle toys on the money tree later I think.
