Aah! Anime style art! Shield ye eyes!

Display your creative spirit here in the Pink Poogle Toy Gallery. It can be art... it can be music... it can be a poem (even haiku)... but most of it... it must be you.

Aah! Anime style art! Shield ye eyes!

*stares at subject topic*

In the past when posting anime art on non-anime boards; I get horrible reviews :O
(ok, not so much as reviews but more of commentary with contempt)
I'm not expecting many comments but I would appreciate kindness to these two sketches! ;D

First one is sketched on OpenCanvas on the computer
Image

Second one is sketched on paper and then scans on the computer

Mwaha! I have completed my goal of posting somthing of the art fourm!
*vanishes in a puff of smoke*

Oh wow, I really love that first picture! The pose is fantastic, very nice proportions. I'm not as fond of the second one, just because I think it's kind of creepy, but technically it's very good. Your style is lovely, I hope you keep posting your art here!

Great styles Edible. You've got a real "realistic" anime thing happening there.

I feel that all good anime are "realistic" in their own way. Portortional wise. <3

A lot of younguns these days learn to draw by copying their favorite cartoons (anime included). Don't let a failing response get you down ;) Keep it up!

I love the pose in the first one =D And the wings and the sword. The creases of his (her?) clothes at the stomach look a bit weird, though.

The second one is pretty detailed o_o It looks really good, except the angle of the man's right arm is kind of strange ...

You have a unique style that I really love. xD The first one is really good; I love that shade of blue and the sketchyness. I also like the second one because of the scary-ish tone it holds. To CG, do you use a mouse or tablet? Nonetheless, keep up the great work. ^ ^

Lol, everyone I know has gender issues with my pictures xD;;

Angels are supposedly asexual beings, so i guess your ok to question it ^^;

But the second picture contains only women. The "man"'s eyes are different being of differences in maturity and age. While the younger girl has more larger eyes representing her naïveté ^_^

oh and yes, the arm's kindof misplaced! I got kind of lazy there ^^

Thanks for the coments everyone! <3

Magikwishez~ I use a tablet to CG. Its just so much faster :)
