Ok im bad at this.. just lost my first game =( didnt practice that much so hopefully I will get better but does anyone have any hints or tips?

I mainly suck at shooting for goals, is it better to shoot from far away or close?

I suggested earlier this: I go towards one side, making the goalie think I'm shooting that way but once I get close, I shoot the opposite direction into the goal. It doesn't work all the time but that's how I've been making most of my goals anyway ;) I didn't practice much either. I like to shoot closer because when you shoot farther, doesn't the goalie like ALWAYS stop it (since he/she obviously sees it coming)?

 I still stink... all those little moving dots confuse me (I always end up focusing one one guy and forgetting the whole team)... o_O

*sigh* never was any good at this sort of thing.

Shadow_Twisted wrote:Tally all the scores for each team, divide the total by the sum of all the games submitted. This gives you the team's average score.

Example:
3 scores submitted by Darigan Citadel: 9-0, 8-2, 4-3.
9+8+4=21 21/3=7

5 scores submitted by Terror Mountain: 6-2, 5-3, 3-2, 9-0, 7-1
9+7+6+5+3=30 30/5=6

Darigan Citadel:7 Terror Mountain:6

Darigan Citadel Wins!

I really hope they do it like that.

Although that's gonna take a lot of counting up. Imagine a million scores, having to be added up and divided! That'd take ages! Glad I don't work for Neopets :).

And it would probably end up with really dodgy scores, like 6.35114 to 6.77346. But heck, I can cope.

And I'm still managing to win reasonably well, so I'm happy. But I still can't score past the darn super-keeper. I try to avoid scoring nine until right towards the end of the match - otherwise I shoot, he saves with a pass straight to Maraqua's star forward (who's too good, damn him), who shoots and scores before my poor mouse can return to the keeper.

I'm glad to see that my suggestion on calculating scores seems to fit nicely. I'm sure that the (dare I say the horrid word) MATH is done through a program that each submitted result is instantly calculated towards the whole score, rounding to the nearest whole number. This does, however lead to the possibility of a tie, but I doubt that that will happen. If, by chance, it does, they may go by the funny decimels.

On another note, TNT must have spies watching me here. Since I've been on after returning from Taekwondo, I've seen only THREE restocks in the souvenir shop and have only nabbed ONE item! Needless to say, I won't be able to fufill my requests at the moment. I'll still be taking requests, but the EARLIEST I'll be able to make any progress will be Saturday night/Sunday morning. I work tomorrow night, which means I can't get on, but that also gives TNT time to FIX THE SHOP!!!!!

Can anyone tell me how to contact them to voice my explosive fury?

Okay has anyone seen the shop fill today as I'm still trying to get a Maraqua Jersey and have been refreshing on the page for 4 and a bit hours now. I spend a whole day trying to buy Maraqua Team Items yesterday and struggled.

If anyone has a Maraqua Team Jersey mail me!

P.S. Have a Great Competition and May The Best Team Win...

You know, I was half hoping we'd be able to play against real people, but oh well.

I started actually playing a few minutes ago as Roo Island (I hope this isn't gonna turn out to be a mistake..eventually.)

I couldn't land a goal in at all, literally. Tyrannia was eating me alive.

Until I discovered the shift key moves every non-active team member back to their original positions. So now my team members are always where I need them and all I have to do now is focus on the active player, and the goal. =D

I'm having fun now. xD
