AFAIK (I'm just getting stuck into Insane myself) the prizes are totally random- I took quite a while beating Evil but I still got Ramtor's Spellbook at the end, and it took me months to get through Normal (I kept not playing for a bit then forgetting about it) and I still got the fairly decent Rohane's Armour Polish. I will get rather narked if I end up with Staff of Righteous Fury at the end of Insane though...
Signature, eh? We'll see about that...
hahaha
i just completed NQII for the first time (normal). got teraskII down to about 1000hp then he killed off rohane (he mesmerised velm for like 36 seconds and really slowed rohane) it took me about three times as long to get him down the last 1000 than the first 4000 but i got him in the end
now to start it again from the beginning on evil

What difficultly are you playing? Anyroad, get outta there! As soon as someone dies, flee as soon as possible, and use a resurrection potion (hope you've bought some!). Hubrid Nox isn't really worth the effort, particularly above Normal difficulty; if you want the whole 'experience' then fight him, but generally he's just a too-difficult waste of time.

I beat him on Normal... best way to do it is slow him as much as possible, and keep him slowed, and chuck plenty of potions at him. Though this means it's best to go back to Augur Faunt to re-stock your potions after fighting him, as you need them for Esophagor.

1 usually don't use them, not even on bosses... i killed the faeries without them... but this is crazy!
EDIT: Just killed him! Lucky streak
I love slow and damage potions, and by the Haunted Woods, theres no reason not to buy them. The monsters give out more gold than in Meridell or Terror Mountain, and equipment upgrades arent required at every stop. Bosses die much sooner when you can slow them down, so I think its a lot less frustrating.
Im glad you killed him though

Hiya, I've finished Evil level for the first time, and now I'm wondering if I should repeat on evil or go up to insane. Just want another's opinion on this.
PS: really doesn't like the idea of going all the way up to Terask and dying and starting all over
PPS: However, Terask was pretty easy this time, though loooong
PPPS: Has never died previously (not everyone) *knock on wood* very cautious strategy.
