You can be sad that the US only managed to score 2 goals in three games. That's something to worry about.

I'm glad that the US got thrashed and gave me absolutely no hope. I would rather have that than to be on edge for nothing.

Never overestimate England. They played terribly yesterday, I can't believe they won. Wasn't exactly surprising that our only goal came off a Beckham set piece.

Portugal defeats England in one of the most well-played matches I've seen. (not that I see many =P) It's a shame that it had to end on penalty kicks.

Wasn't well played - was rather boring in my opinion..

... and the wort part is, Ronaldo was the one who sealed our fate

*sigh*

But odds were against us - Portugal with their brilliant goalkeeper, and losing 2 of our main penalty takers..

Italy won.. great, now Toronto's streets will be clogged with fans cheering... If Zidane didn't headbutt the Italian player, France would have won. France really deserved it, I feel sorry for them

im so ANGRY italy won. I don't like italy. But they had a super goaly. France's goaly wasn't very good. And ZIDANE! I can't believe he head butted the other player in his LAST game. Bad move. Maybe if he did it when he knew France was gonna win...bad move.

Mainly because my Sister won £180 For it (Inspite Sharing it with the lass who drew France On the advice of her Boyfriend)

*feels dumb* So that's why I never saw the topic for the world cup, it was in the one forum I never check.

Anyway nice game, but probably we would have won even if Zidane hadn't gone and had himself expelled. Trezeguet made that mistake with the penalty. I think Buffon played a great game
