the "secret item" on the Wheel of Excitement is...

Just a minute ago, I got the "secret item" on the Wheel of Excitement. What, exactly, is it? Is it anything at all? This is the first time I've landed on "secret item" and I'd like to know what it is! Thanks!

I*think* it raises stats, and does not give you an actual item.

It might raise stats of a battle spell or something, I'm not really into battling pets so I have not paid attention.

Anyone confirm?

You can sometimes get items from it. I got a Wet Snowball Wand a few days ago.

I've never noticed any stat changes or items appearing... I guess it's just a useless spacefiller

Did it tell you what you got? If not, check your inventory. I heard about someone getting a Faerie Paint Brush from it once.

The 'secret item' does nothing that has ever been proved, as far as I know. The 'magic' prize provides you with one of several possible items, including snowball wands, potions, faerie food and cooler (but rarer-to-get) stuff. There is also a prize that raises your faerie ability level, but it's not the 'secret item'.

I have my own little superstition about the secret item prize (the message you get is 'A mystical wind blow past... you feel different somehow') that it brings luck. After I get it, I go and play a couple of games of Dice-A-Roo. But that's just me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't landing on that raise your petpet's level or an ability level? I know I read about that somewhere, just can't remember where.

I play the Wheel of Excitement every two hours when I'm online and I can assure you 'secret item' does NOT get you an item. It also certainly doesn't raise petpet levels (look at my four petpets, Elefuzz is three and a half years old and still level 1) and it's the Light Faerie symbol that gets you your ability levels raised. 'Magic' is the prize that wins you an item. Strange I know, but that's how it is. 'Secret item' just gets you a message about a mystical wind, and nothing else that's been proved.

I always thought it was the fact that you're 150NP poorer than you were before. I think like a pessimist so the thought of something good happening never even crossed my mind.

Maybe the 'special prize' is that you don't get the death sign.

The Wind thing doesn't do anything as far as I can tell. Getting items sometimes is nice. I used to hit the 10k thing all the time when I was a new player, but ever since that avatar come out it never happens.

I can say that it heals deceases... And twice i got a raise of my petpet abilities... but twice the dark faerie decrease it.
