Wierd neomail!

look what I just received after posting a trade:

'Hi would you like to trade my muggle_mom account, or my neokinghenry account, (Ur choice) For one of ur trades? I have decided to start fresh and I need those accounts to go into good hands!'

What an idiot like im gonna fall for that! what do you all think i should do with it? report or ignore?

They are clearly abusing the TOS.

thanks for the advice, i just thought id ask, i thought it was definately a scam, and i looked up the usernames of the users mentioned, and it looks like it has been tried before!

mashette, I buy neggs from muggle_mom all of the time. And have run into neokinghenry as well from time to time. And both have always seemed like legit players to me. In fact, I know that muggle_mom is a mother, like myself. So, I would really wonder why she would do something like that to jeopardize her account. I am wondering if someone is setting them up--hoping that their accounts get frozen. Someone who might not like them or who is jealous of them. I mean, after all, it is easy to make enemies on Neopets. And someone might dislike a person so much that they would stoop to doing something like this.

Seems like those accounts are aware that they are being offered up for trades. I would definitely report this person.

thats what I thought! I checked the accounts out, and both said that that is the only account they use, and that they would never trade/sell or break the T&Cs!

Ah, the light bulb just went off in my head. Mashette, I just got it. Someone other than muggle_mom and neokinghenry wrote you. Ah, definitely someone who has it in for them. A jealous, bitter, disgruntled person. Poor muggle_mom and neokinghenry to have to put up with people like that.

...or somebody trying to use thier good looking accounts to scam other people.

I had somebody claim to own my account and was offering my pets for cash! Remember to only report the account that you recieved the neomail from...not the accounts they claim to own.
