Well, i havent played neopets in almost 2 years after i lost my faerie slingshot in late 2004 but neopets would not admit to losing my item in glitches. I know FOR SURE that i didnt get hacked or scammed and that it was just an item glitch.

This isnt the first time that one of my items was glitched away. In 2003, my thyoras tear was sludged, even while it was sitting in the trading post. I even got the sludge event so i know that i wasnt cged or scammed.

Does anyone know how i can contact the staff for help? The neopets support forms never do me any good and im not sure if driving to their HQ would help.

2003 and 2004? Don't bother trying I'd say. a) TNT don't give back lost items, and b) that's more than two years ago. I doubt they can track what happened that far back. And if they can't find records of it, they won't believe any screenshots you come up with. Those can be faked you know.

And be honest, if you really missed those items so much, wouldn't you have put up more of a fuss back then? You've been able to do without them for two years. Accept the loss and enjoy finding ways to buy those items again instead.

I always thought that items in the trading post could still be stolen or sludged -- after all, they still appear in your inventory. Are they supposed to be safe?

There was someone who drove to the Neopets HQ once on here, named mradamface. He went twice I think to unfreeze his account, and the article is still on the main site.

Uh.. yeah. For starters, items can still be sludged even if they're in the Trading Post.

That's what your SDB is for. For safekeeping.

And 2 years ago? You have no chance, especially if you're only now deciding to kick up a fuss. Just cut your losses and move on, I suggest.

Alex, I remember that summer that he decided to make his journey. Reminded me a bit of Hunter S. Thompson's journey in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. That was such a fun time on PPT. Everyone rooting him on. His thread went on for over 20 pages. And Magenta even made those Go MrAdamFace Go banners for her Neopets. Ah, the good old days.

And, so this thread is on topic: I hate to say it but Neopets isn't going to give back items lost to glitches over 2 years ago. Their policy back then was "sorry, but we don't compensate for losses due to glitches." I know. I got many a letter from them saying that. I do believe that they have changed their policy somewhat. Since November 2004, they have given items and nps back when glitches occurred that affected a great number of people. But, I can only recall that happening a few times.
