And Neopets didn't create anything new for the School Supplies shop?

Well they did give you desks and a chalk board and flash cards. You can always pretend that your home schooling your neopet 8)

People need to quit beating the dead horse.

They've announced many, many times now that Neoschools won't be coming out... hence the lack of school supplies.

I don't think neoschools will ever be coming out. There were some legal issues. I think the person who came up with the idea left neopets and now neopets can't release neoschools due to copyright issues. At least, that's what I heared. :)

No, it was in the news or editorial years ago that Neoschools had become too large of a project and it just couldn't be done. The writer apologized and said that it was never going to happen. Disappointing, of course, but at least it was honest. Now that was just the official explanation; if there were in fact any legal or copyright issues, I'm not aware of them.

The battle crayons were cute, but my favorite was the folder with teeth. :lol: And I could have sworn there were some new items released for the Clothing store not too long ago.

I have been collecting the school supplies for a loooong time. Long before they announced that they wouldn't be releasing schools. I have been off neo for awhile now, but I'm surprised to hear that they didn't release any new school items. Afterall, just because neoschools aren't coming out, doesn't mean that they should stop making the items. (Clothes, anyone?)
