Where I'm from, these guys are really unknown. But anyone that does know them, loves them, myself included. They're a rock band, heavy in some songs, lighter in others, but all round brilliant.

Just asking around to see if anyone else has heard of these guys and what you're favourite songs are. My personal favourites have to be
So Cold (especially the unplugged version),
Had Enough,
Forget It,
Diary of Jane (again, the unplugged version),
Water,
Unknown Soldier

There's honestly very few songs from these guys that I dont like. If you haven't heard of them, check out their Myspace http://myspace.com/breakingbenjamin
You can get a sample of their music there.

we're i come from, they're very well known. But that's cause they're all from here :) and this is one of the cities where everyone knows everyone. For example, my mom went to school with one of their dads (mark's), another one of their dads is one of my professors in my creative writing program (aaron's), the one grew up two blocks away from me (mark), and when we were kids, they used to yell things at my brother when he'd ride his bike past there house.
Whew, sorry if I'm bragging, but this the first rock band to make it really big from here, so I get excited :)

Anyhow, my favorite songs are:
from Saturate:
Polyamorous (one that started it all! And I've actually seen the episode of the mtv show where they got it from, so i was happy to recognize the term)
Natural Life
Shallow Bay
Medicate

We Are Not Alone:
So Cold
Simple Design
Breakdown
Follow

Phobia:
Breath
You
Unplugged Diary of Jane

But I really like all of their songs. It's my civic duty :)

If you want to know more about them, Aaron's dad, Gary Finke (or Fincke -- his last name is spelled different from his son's, and i can't remember off the top of my head which it is), has a cool book called Amp'd, which is about following his son around as the band began to make it big. It's a pretty good read. Not sure where you can get it though, but you can always google it.

I only have a few of their songs downloaded to my computer. But slowly - inch by inch - I'm getting into them more. The only two songs that I have truly listened to are "So Cold" and "Diary of Jane", so I can't say I've listened to much

I'm being cheap and refusing to buy any CD over $9, so it might be awhile till I'm able to buy the CD.

I love them. I only have We Are Not Alone and Phobia, though.

My favorites are "Rain", "Diary of Jane", "Had Enough", "Topless" and "Here We Are".

I really like Phobia. I don't know song titles but the whole CD flows nicely so you don't really notice when a song ends and another starts, its good background & driving music :)

Wow, they're more popular than I thought.

Well, I've downloaded a lot of their stuff, but I've tried buying their CDs. Problem is, all the big music chains don't sell any BB. I've been looking everywhere for at least one of their albums, I dont care which, but I've found nothing.

Thats really cool though lilbear. I can't say there's any bands around my area that made that big (but we have had some great talent playing at the local club).

Omg I love Breaking Benjamin! I used to listen to them a lot a little over a year ago, then when my ipod got wiped I couldnt remember everything I had on it.

I havn't heard their new CD yet, but the 'We Are Not Alone' CD is awesome.

yeah, when they were first starting out, they said a critic had said they were good, but would only play clubs, and never sell out the arena. Happy to say they achieved that August 30 :)

Oh, and I also like the song the have on the Halo soundtrack, Blow Me Away.

I've heard a few of their songs, the 30-second clips on iTunes, and they're pretty good. I might buy one of their CDs. Not sure which one though.

Wal-Mart is selling (edited)Phobia for $15. I haven't managed to convince myself that I want to spent $15 on a edited version though.

Australia doesn't have Wal-Mart stores (yet), and I've checked all the major store chains, but Breaking Benjamin just doesn't seem to be in demand here for some reason.

Well, I'm just hoping they decide to tour the Land Down Under sometime soon. They could score a few thousand people here, easily, even though the big chains dont sell their CDs.

Well, all of their CDs are being sold on iTunes for $9.99 each, including the clean and explicit versions of Phobia and We Are Not Alone. If they weren't on there, I wouldn't think twice about buying them since the actual CDs are more.

Ahh. You're better off without Walmarts anyway ;)
