Revenge?

#1 Post by alien »

Recently my ex has gotten one of her friends to call me at around 9 pm ish, which is bad enough because my brother is asleep by then and that wakes him up, but the conversations are the weird parts. So yea. Last night was the wierdest. I dont even know this gall and shes calling me and saything things like (a snipit) "im a panther. a 'mating' panther" only a different word in mating place. The other times shes just on the phone just to annoy me, so i was wondering what to do. I havnt done anything to either of them that would cause them to do that. at least i dont think i have.

They might just think it's funny. Have you asked them to stop? If you do and they don't, then they are harrassing you.

Ask them to stop, and see what happens. If they keep calling, find out if you can block specific callers on your line and do so if it's possible. Most prank callers will give up after that.

Seriously, don't retaliate, if that's what you're thinking. They sound like the type of people who would escalate this into something even more unpleasant if you tried to get back at them.

she might just want friend and not realise. have you menetioned it wakes up your brother? it might be worth mentioning it and seeing if she calls at a different time.

If not, i agree, ask her to stop calling, and if she doesnt get the number blocked.

Wasn't that the name of the smelly musk in Anchorman? (the panther thing)

Anyhow, is she using a blocked number? Because I know some places you can choose to not accept blocked calls.

This is happening to me too, this girl keeps calling my cell on restricted and just saying random things. It stopped for a while then she started calling again.

We were getting weird calls a while back, we just told them, hold on a minute, then played really loud heavy metal down the phone... they got the hint after a few times of ear-blasting.

Or you can simply just put the phone down and leave it for a while. Check every 15 or so minutes to see if they have hung up. The longer they take to hang up the more money it costs them for calling.

That's not fair, though, because why should he let her tie up his phone line when he might have other important calls to receive.

Personally, this counts as harrassment. You should find out if you can take legal action. If not, you should at least call your phone company to find out how to block them.

From what I understand, he doesn't want anyone to be calling around 9pm because his brother is already asleep. So it really doesn't matter if the phone is tied up or the ringer is off.

Where were you when I was having these phone call prank problems?

But as everyone said, let them know it's bothering your brother and if they don't stop, find a way to block them through your phone company or blast music as werepup pointed out.

36 Crazyfists, Bitterness the star album, track Four.

Having that go at you is disconcerting, especially as it starts off relatively low...

As for Proper revenge, I would advise against it.
