Stunningly easy. i was stupid enough to try and use formulas to find it, when it would have been faster to use brute force. that costed me my prize

I add 28+28 until I got to one thousand. Then I just put number together and divided until I got an even number.

Supposedly there are 2 answer a low and high. I think i went with the high one since i don't know the low one.

Edit:Oh thought it would be helpful but i guess thats not allowed anymore?

6 digits is that the total money you must spend or the number of tiles?

for the number of tiles i got 5 digits...

Lets see. The only possible answers with five digits:
11111
22222
33333
44444
55555
66666
77777
88888
99999

None of those divided by 28 come out with an even number.

Darn. I see my mistake. Yall are right.
