This season's gonna be split into 3 major mysteries (6 and 7 episodes, then if the CW orders up the remaining episodes, one last 7-ep arc), with the other ones slowly introduced and overlapping each other a little.

I'm liking the mysteries, and I think it'll pull in some people. After all, last season probably couldn't hook anyone who didn't watch season 1, cause no one would understand many things like the whole Lily Kane/Aaron Echolls stuff. This season, they seem to be starting with a clean slate that people can understand while referencing the past season (rape mystery and Keith Mars taking Kendall's suitcase of unknown contents).

Yaaay Veronica Mars! I think I'll love this season no matter what (Logan/Veronica or not- I'm one of the few people to not like Logan at all), if only because I can actually watch the show without having to have friends tape it for me. Why? CW!!! My new best friend (it also means I can watch Supernatural!), as UPN has always had horrible reception here, and while the WB hasn't been much better, suddenly it works and is only slightly lesser quality than the other channels. <3

I like Piz, but I don't want him to end up with Veronica or anything like that. I'm not sure WHY I feel this way, though- I just do. :/

I'm also extremely confused at what happened with the entire Keith-Kendall-someotherguy thing.

can't find the sig from this set, so instead, you get a <3 .

Oh, another thing - Duncan isn't a main character anymore. Is he going to appear at all? I mean, he did kidnap someone even though it is his daughter. Plus the whole Aaron Echolls thing. I just think they need to wrap up his storyline.

It wasn't very well explained, but this is what I think happened:

Keith picked up Cormac Fitzpatrick (Liam's brother and Kendall's boyfriend/con partner) from prison when he was released early. Keith took Cormac to the house in the desert where he'd taken Kendall right after the end of last season.

Liam thought that he deserved a cut of what Kendall and Cormac had made on their last con (Kendall marrying the elder Smurf Casablancas and getting Cassidy's money, by my best guess, but I could be wrong). He knew that Kendall had been working with Keith, and hired Vinnie Van Lowe to plant a bug in Keith's briefcase (the pen).

When Keith went out of the house to get Cormac's fake passport, he discovered the bug. He wanted to warn Cormac and Kendall about Liam, but Liam got there first. Liam presumably shot Kendall. Judging by the way Cormac said she "wasn't" a very good judge of character, I'm going to assume she's dead until I hear otherwise. Cormac believed that Keith was working for Liam, so he shot him.

So, Keith is sitting in the desert waiting for death now. He will live, because he's a regular and it's only the first episode. :P

---

In other news, I honestly didn't notice that the new TA guy, Tim Foyle, was played by James Jordan (Lucky from last season) until the third time I watched the episode. Okay, Rob Thomas was completely and utterly right about bringing him back. James Jordan is really talented.

So, who are your suspects for the first mystery?

Mine are:
Professor Landry
Tim Foyle
The dean from last season, for a twist
Someone we haven't met yet

For the red herrings:
Sheriff Lamb ("She's 18--it's legal!" will come back to haunt him.)
Richard "Smurf" Casablancas (Hee. I like calling him Smurf.)
The Welcome Wagon Guy
Various frat boys

We really don't know exactley what/who the bug was intended for as Vinnie Van Lowe has turned out to be a good guy before aka when helping Duncan and V with Baby Lily. However, it wasn't Liam who shot Kendall, it was Cormac. Him saying she "wasn't a very good judge of character," meant that she didn't juduge him, Cormac, too well. I believe Cormac wanted the money for himself as well as a clean slate and didn't want to tote Kendall around. Since Liam, apparently, doesn't know Cormac is out yet, Keith is the only one who knows this minute detail, and thus Cormac must get "rid" of him.

Huh, never thought of it that way. You could be right.

Vinnie isn't really good or bad: he'll work for anyone. And I think the writers wanted us to assume it was Liam that Vinnie was working for, since Keith said something along the lines of, "Vinnie, please tell me you're not working for Liam," when he discovered the bug. But, hey, they could easily have wanted viewers to assume wrongly so that Cormac going all evil would be more surprising.

I like your interpretation--it's a lot more interesting than the one I thought of. :)

As far as has been said, Teddy Dunn is completely finished with the show (PRAISE THE LORD) and has no intentions of coming back. I didn't really like how they just forgot about him kidnapping his daughter, but as long as he doesn't come back, I'm fine. :P

Aww I liked Teddy Dunn. I especially liked the who intervention thing in the Season 2 finale with Duncan being connected to Aaron in the end, talk about sweet revenge. I'm cool with him leaving the show too, as I am a huge Logica fan and love having Logan & Veronica together.

Im really liking this season so far as they are really addressing how messed up D!ck is, I feel so bad for him. I mean, having him cry like that and going to Logan was heartwrenching. I wanna give him a huge hug. Im a little disappointed that Mac seems to be so absolutley fine. But it's understandable that D!ck would be more upset about the whole ordeal.

I also updated the first post .. mutterbug and Xela of Xandra are now added to fans and I also updated why we <3 Veronica Mars

Episode 2

So to refrain from double posting. Episode 2 .. soooo awesome. I love how you can see how Veronica has rubbed off on Logan and Wallace. I wish CW would hurry up and pick up VM for a whole season so we can stop the mini-mysteries. Like the whole did Kendall die and her cash stolen? Which is yes-no. Yes she died but no body was left and no her cash wasn't stolen as she bought "Two Lovers" as a way to hide her cash.

*EDIT*
OHEMGEE .. It is 3:38 and no more then 10 minutes ago did I watch parts of veronica mars being films AND MET VERONICA MARS AKA KRISTEN BELL!!!!! They are currently filming scenes at my school and it is awesome !!!!!! So stoked right now!!

Lol! Yush .. she is absolutley gorgeous, her smile is contagious! They filmed on campus all day from about 9am until 8:30 or later. The part I saw they were filming on the hill with all the bikini clad women. She was wearing bright red lipstick and a real cute white top and the scene involved a boy in a blue shirt with a number on it and he appeared to be playing with a football.

I am not entirely sure what the scene was but that is what I saw. I took pictures, but my camera won't let me send them *tear*

But man o man, that second episode rocked no? The fact that it was Wallace vs Logan was hilarious!

I can't wait to find out what's actually going on in that scene, PTP. It must be awesome going to the school that "plays" Hearst.

Finally got to see the second episode. It was sparky! *pets the TiVo for actually working*

They shouldn't have waited 2 seasons to put Wallace and Logan in scenes together. I guess they kept them separate because they were the main people in Veronica's normal(ish) and pseudo '09er lives. It would have been a little weird to have them together before the end of season 2...but they're way too entertaining together now. :D

So here is my review on Episode Three!

Opening scene - No that is not SDSU football field for they use Qualcom stadium .. that is instead the football field of USD.

Weevil - Poor guy .. he had a crummy job at a car wash, got way to involved with the job V provided for him .. but at least he seems to like his maitenence job at Hearst. Lol, he must be very good with his hands that Mr. Fixit

Guitar Hero - I started cracking up as my friend plays that all the time!

Busted Veronica - The scene where she got busted due to the slowest printer in the world was hilarious .. you could tell she wasn't expecting getting caught.

Library - Nope .. not SDSU's library either .. that would be USD's as well.

Final scene - Aww Logan and Veronica ... how I love my logical love!

Over all - USD was used a lot this episode which is interesting. I like how they're using the two colleges to make one. I would love to see them use UCSD too, though maybe they will. Yay for SD based shows!

This week's episode was pretty darn good, and I actually saw it when it came on! Everyone had a good point this week, which is rare on TV.

Although, seriously, did they really need to introduce a long-lost brother?
