I had the urge to check my count, and lo and behold... *sighs*
Overall it's going pretty well though--I know where I'm going, and how I want to get there, which is more than I can usually say for my writing!

I still can't load the site.
However I'm at 1,699 words. Oh, I thrashed outline and characters, in exchange for a no-plot novel with a monkey as the main character. I hate brilliant ideas that come to me at 11pm.

I'm at 871 words and it's been like pulling teeth all day. They're really not kidding about the sophomore slump--I had something like 4000 this time last year.
Oh, forget it. I'm just going to write about the horses and the kitties and the weather and then skip to the scenes where things get interesting.

2025 words, and two chapters. Coming along nicely. The first bit of the plot has been revealed, and I left it with a cliffhanger. I'm evil like that.

I'm currently at 281 words I was all excited to start writing at midnight but i was too tired and went to bed lol. I started to work on it today and lost about a third of what I had written in an error. But I'm still thankful for the 2/3rds I got to keep!

I have indeed succumbed to NaNo-insania, and have made the decision to try to compete this year.
I've just started chapter two and as of now I have 4,700 words. I got a little bit carried away yesterday. o.O Anyway, out shopping and going to a friend's today and all that, so I probably won't get that much actual writing done. I like trying to write more than I need so I can have a day off if I'm quite busy. :P

I have exams until the 17th, so I cant join in. But everyone else seems to be having so much fun.... and i guess thats because you're all doing it in such a short amount of time. So if I only have a week and a half to do it, it'd be even more fun right?

I've been really busy the past couple days, and when I checked all the chapters that I had half-worked on and finished, I had 20,668.

You guys are so energetic and excited and have plots and stuff. I'm just going to start writing, work in vampires somewhere, and call it a story. Tomorrow. I'll start tomorrow, I swear, Pudding!

Woah, how'd you write that much that quickly? Or, more importantly, how did those people who already hit 50k write so quickly?
Anyway, I hit a few obstacles in my novel because I hit sections I did not have completely planned out in my head beforehand. I worked around two of them though and I'm at a part I know pretty well, so I'll have a good start for tomorrow....if I have time, anyway. I have to work tomorrow.
