Okay from what it looks like. . .you have to open up your items. Hit one of the actions and just wait a while. The goal is to get it to be your target value of the relevant property.

Well so far I've managed to get a big pile of black goop. For me, if I burn the Bagus Pulp the enchantment goes up VERY fast. Only burn it for a second or two at a time. There are sooo many combination possibilities. wow.

Edit: apparently the amount of grams versus time matters. The first time with the Bagus Pulp, I used one gram and burning it--the enchantment went up very fast. Now I have 5 grams and it is just creeping along.

Edit 2: Ewww!!! I used 5 grams of Baggus Pulp and enchanted it to exactly 52. Sophie then gave it to her Meowclops---poor kitty it burned all of her hair off. (kinda funny looking)

Edit3: Now for round 2 So far I've used the sharpgrass twice. I need 17 grams and +45 divination. So I used the sharpgrass once for 9 grams and once for 8 grams and totaled the divination to +45. Now I'm wondering if I should continue with the 2nd componant before I throw it all in the cauldron, cause it took so darned long to get the first componant to where I want it. Any suggestions??

Nevermind, I'll try that combine button first. Well drat!!!! :x :x :x :x I combined the two ingredients and and 1 had 9 grams and +23 divination. The other had 8 grams and +22 divination, but when they combined it equaled 17 grams like it should but only the +22 diviniation. I'm going to bed. (drat again) I'm sure things will look clearer in the morning.


Do you have your towel?

Note that to get massive amounts of power, you can burn and crush bagguss goop, and desiccate sharpgrass to great effect.

Soaking sharpgrass does the opposite, by amplifying divinity by a lot.

Any word yet on Spectral Essence? Nothing I've done indicates what it might be.

It's speculation on my part, but the shadows in the BD may be an important part of the "spectral essence" composite much like how we used the Spirit of the Ruins in the LDP (since we're not given any plot background for them, it's very probable that they play an important role in this since they are some sort of spectral being.)

I am having the hardest time trying to combine my ingredients. I have
10 grams
+25 conjuring

and

6 grams
+20 Conjuring

and its suppost to be
16 grams
conjuring
target value +42 +/- 5

I just cant figure out how to combine! AHHH! Can someone walk me through this one?

First take a look through the walkthrough post as well as the links provided in that walkthrough post to help you.
In any case, that wont be enough. While the qty are added (you will get 16g) you will only get about +23 Conjuring, as those values are being averaged.

Each of my PetPets just came out of the Symol hole with a Buried Bone and a "Wonder where they got that from" type message. Is that plot? If so what...? Haunted Woods graveyard bones turning up in Meridell?

No, the "Wonder where they got that from" message comes with every item from the hole.

I know because I've got two items from it before.
