* 4g of Babaa Wool
* 3g of Crushed Jurpleberries
* 3g of Bagguss Pulp
= BURN and CRUSH each, all to the MAX.
(NOTE: This is for Stage 4)

Anti-Gravity Goo - Stage 5 - FOUND!
* 4g Babaa Wool - Crushed
* 2g Bagguss Pulp - Crushed, Burned, Soaked, Dessicated
* 2g Crushed Jurpleberries - Burn, Crushed, Soaked
* 2g Crushed Jurpleberries - Crushed, Soaked
= All actions to the MAX!

Ice Plasma FOUND!
* 1g Bumroot
* 1g Sharpgrass
* 1g Nova
= BURN and CRUSH each, all to the MAX.
Then add
* 7g Sharpgrass
= Do NOTHING to this, except add it.

Psionic Singularity FOUND!
* 2g Madroot Vine, dreid 2 secons (for a slower method 4 grams for 4 seconds or 6 grams for 6 seconds, etc. and split to 2)
* 8g Nova Essence DO NOTHING

Platinum Mist FOUND!
* 1g sharpgrass, no actions
* 1g Madvine root, no actions
* 8g bronze sansam, burn crush soak dry to the max

i know this may have been asked before but i don't have time to read through 7 threads. I've tried making the Spectral Essence several times and must be doing something wrong... to clarify when i mix all the ingredients together to make a composite does it turn into the Spectral Essence or do i need to throw it in the cauldron? Thanks!

It should be a Spectral Essence before you throw it in the cauldron.

Speaking of progression, I vaguely recall seeing someone say they were unable to begin the lab portion of this plot without first fighting (or at least attempting to) the spirit ghost enemies in the battledome. Now that the ghosts are gone, will people who just jumped into the plot be able to complete this lab portion? It wouldn't surprise me if they weren't; I'm just curious if you really had to fight the ghosts first.

Hmmmm good question. Maybe if they can't they'll be able to if/when we get another round of fighting. I couldn't imagine not having to fight anymore.

Yup, I came into the plot and didn't fight at all... And I'm making Platinum Mist right now .

I did all my battling on my side account, where my battledome pet is, but was able to pick up the plot again on my main account without battling. So, yes, those who just jumped in will still be able to complete this part of the plot, even though the battledome opponents have disappeared.

*bows in appreciation* Whoever sorted out the Psionic Singularity, THANK YOU!!. I used the 4g of Madvine dissecated for 4 seconds and then split it, because even my browser is fast, it is not THAT fast to do 2g at 2 sec. Someone came to the mental rescue of all Neopians, 2 seconds only 1 ingredient only 1 action...now that is really devilish

If anyone is having a problem with Stage 5, Composite #3, I found this recipe on http://www.neopets.com/~CountCrankaroo petpage and it helped me out. Follow the directions according to which properties you need:

1g babaa wool:

Conjuring/Divination: burn, crush
Conjuring/Enchantment: burn, soak
Conjuring/Power: crush, soak
Divination/Enchantment: burn, desiccate
Divination/Power: crush, desiccate
Enchantment/Power: soak, desiccate

1g madvine root, 1g nova essence:

Conjuring/Divination: vine (burn), nova (crush)
Conjuring/Enchantment: vine (crush), nova (desiccate)
Conjuring/Power: vine (desiccate), nova (soak)
Divination/Enchantment: vine (soak), nova (crush)
Divination/Power: vine (soak), nova (burn)
Enchantment/Power: vine (burn), nova (desiccate)

1g crushed jurpleberries (pick the two you need below):

Conjuring: crush
Divination: soak
Enchantment: burn
Power: desiccate

All that is left is to combine the 4 into one composite, then get 1 gram of some random ingredient that wasn't used yet
(like leafy slorgblossom or bumroot), and add that in.

im so dam mad! I did the math in a calculator and the average for my thing should have been a 76...they marked it as a 75...which didn't work, so I basically wasted my time, when it should have worked.
