I'm about ready to quit. I've been stuck on the 3rd step with the potions for almost 5 days. I'm getting sick of this!!
I've tested so many things, and for some reason it's not working I could really use some help from someone.

What potion do they want you to make?

Composite #1:

Special: Spectral Essence
Quantity: 25 grams

Composite #2:

Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant property: Enchantment
Target value: +83 +/- 3
Relevant property: Conjuring
Target value: +79 +/- 3

I have the whole Spectral Essence potion, but i can't get the second part.

Use the Crushed Jurpleberries method honestly. All you need is 12 grams and it can't be more than 3 grams of any one basic ingredient. I used 4 groups of 3 grams and it worked just fine.

Your best bet is to nab 9 grams and slowly burn and then crush them until you get the desired values. Burn the CJ to raise the enchantment and crush the CJ to raise the conjuring. Max burn and conjure is 180 in case you didn't know. So you'll need to pay attention and not let it burn/crush for max. Once you have the desired values split the 9 grams into 3 groups of 3 grams. Once that is done create a new composite and start adding them. You'll need to it once more for 3 additional grams to equal 12 grams. If need be choose 9 grams because it'll take longer so you won't go over the target values. Then obviously split it, use what you need, and toss the rest. It'll work. Just be sure to get as close to 83 and 79 as possible. Splitting it will help you get same value for 3 of the groups.

Jeez, One last question for my next one can I use basically the same ingredient?
For this one I need:
Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant property: Divination
Target value: +65 +/- 2
Relevant property: Enchantment
Target value: +103 +/- 2
Could I just use the CJ but Burn and Soak them?

Yes u can use the CJ again. And yes you're right in that you'll want to Burn/Soak the CJ. Glad to hear that the last step worked out ok.

Ahh, This isn't working. I got 103 for the Enchantment, and 64 for the Diviation, I did everything right but it didn't work.

Did you put in the CJ in lots of 3 grams?
As it may say that you can't put in more than 3 of any one ingredient, but you're okay to put in 3 grams of CJ x 4, making a total of 12.. Could that be the problem?

I did most of the plot, I just skipped the second round of potion making. I won't get points for that, but it was hard and I didn't like it.

It's my opinion that the trick might have actually been a bug; if it was, then they may have fixed it such that you can't do that anymore.
