It's not usually luck, a person with one of the most powerful pets just has to pay attention to when it's down to a number they can beat without their pet dying. It would be kind of easier to beat him when you have 10,000HP as opposed to 500-something, no?

To get him as a challenger, you must visit Neovia first.

Thank you. I visited Neovia and got him as a challenger, then promptly lost of course. I hope that counts for something.

The steps for this section of the plot for those that are confused.

1. Read the latest chapter of the comic

2. Go to Neovia. You should receive a new battledome challenger, Mayor Thumburt

3. Go to the Battledome and fight the Mayor. You cannot harm him, and his attacks will kill you, even if you use Burrow/Sink/Other full blockers. He does not even need to use weapons to damage you.

4. Everytime somebody in Neopia loses to him, he loses one hit point.

You won't win, but maybe it'll count towards your overall score in the end. :D

I think I'm only going to do 50 losses per stage. Any more and I'm going to make myself go broke trying to find enough healing potions to keep poor Capi going.

Plus I don't think I could stand losing more than 150 times.

Featheralley hasn't battled anyone in this plot more than once, and neither have fought the mayor yet

Ow. My poor baby promptly got his tail fin whipped. HARD. :( (Would you believe 1100+ damage, kids?)

Hopefully that'll help someone else defeat this new guy, though, if y'all's assumptions are correct.

Remember - Food also gives some HP back to your pet, if you need to heal but don't have healing potions, old food may be a good idea

Well, it won't matter if your pet has 5 or 500 HP, right? (Well, maybe 500 would be good, but, you get the picture, right)
If your pet's hungry, feeding it will increase it's hit points by a bit - enough to get it into a battle..

Well, I did my part - all my pets are at 0. So will the plot be over after the three stages are defeated, and the potion is poured into the well?
