HW Plot Part: Mayor Thumburt (Split 1)

This guy is taking forever...last time I fought him (a coupla minutes ago), he was down to about 877k hp. Whoopee? I think people are tired of spending money on potions (not that I've spent any money on potions at the moment - a defeat every half hour is perfectly fine by me).

I just don't want to sit there for half an hour to wait for the healing springs...this is getting extremely boring...

Not like getting beat over and over again and then spending money to buy potions is any more fun. ^_^

If your pet isn't full, you can feed it something for a few HP. That's pretty cheap.

I finally finshed the potion making step, and i'm finally all caught up. Yay!
Now, I'm just.. bored. My neopets aren't very powerful. I'm not much into the battledome. So, from a few posts I have read, I'm getting that we have to all battle and it will slowly bring down his HPs if we all work together?

It will. And at this point, it really doesn't matter if your pets are strong or weak. They all do the same amount of damage when they lose.

Are TNT going to measure the collective damage we do because there would be no point mentioning that the mayor grows weaker.

I only get the weaking messege when actual damage goes through, maybe it goes down by the amount of damage done?

ohhhh no i never joined any plot before. Oh dear. LOL.

The battling is wierd.. The mayors strength appears to fluctuate a lot..
Like, he attacked me, did 17 icons damage (with beserk attack) and did 1237HP damage..

However, with other battles, he's done waaayyy more icons, i've still done the same move each battle (2 attack weapons and fierce attack). but it's hit for 900something HP..

Surely more icons would mean more damage?

Maybe the damage is randomish, and the attacking and icons are just for show?

(completely random side-comment: Well, the 'mutants' in Neovia are due to people becoming what they wanted, but moreso, right? Like the really tall stretched wocky guy.. What power do you think the mayor wanted? As he's become awfully chubby in this latest form of his... )

Fighting Inflatable Balthazar may not add to your points but it will increase your win percentage. It's what I'm going to do after this partis over. I've lost to him 57 times so far so I'm now just waiting until I can use the healing springs again.
