Ugh, I'm not liking this change, either. I really miss the neopoints to points ratio.

Yeah, the quality control thing gone is a big deal IMHO.

I just tried playing 2 sponsor games - the disney move it and licca-chan. Got reviews for both

They're 300np games for goodness sake!

On the other hand, I played the Duff game and no problems. Very weird!

I really don't like this new layout. I had things kind of organized. I'd play all the action games first, just go down the list of all the games I can play, then I'd go to the puzzle section. This is too "kiddie" and garish. Nick's influence already?

The layout is so overcrowded, it is such a strain on the eyes.

The "For Kids" cateogory is ridiculous. I mean who is to judge what games are easy for kids? As long as the Under 13's don't access the Luck/Chance category why should there be a 'kids' section at all?

To me, the Games Room is cartoonish - much in the style of Nickolodean.

The graphics/design is so out of place. I am truely appalled at such a change in Neopets.

It seems like you can't open up more than 1 game anymore - the 2nd games opens up in the previous games window.

I feel the pain of being on a old, slow computer. I have already re-booted twice today. I can't play any games at the moment and with a Games Challenge coming, I feel like crying. :cry:

Nope, I have premium - none of us knew anything about this change. Believe me, if we had you all would have known.

I have premium too, and this format looks eeriely familiar to me. I can't put my finger on it. Could it possibly have been the Neopets Jr. layout for a while already? *can't figure it out

Does anyone else think they shouldn't waste time on new game layouts and concentrate on giving us our plot prizes? Cause, um, I'd really prefer the latter.

I kind of like the new layout colors and such. I just think it's going to take some time to get used to the new system. That being said...I wonder what is up with the fact they aren't telling us how much each game is worth now...

And the screen tips over the icons are really helpful as well...

I love the new layout. Games really needed a layout change it's had the same format for a long as I remember. It's got thing a little better sorted out. Not only that but now you can see the high scores with having to go to the high score board to look first. Some people could debate that Neopets should focus on something else but I do think they had to do this step sooner or later. My only gripe is that they didn't change the My Scores or Hi-Score Tables of the games. It's going to get a little use to but it's a welcome change since everytime I would look for NQII I would go to Action instead of Puzzle. Not only that but I was kind mad that you always had to go pass the newest games to find what you wanted in the game section.

In short: Whoo, New Shiny Thing!

Definately not liking it, and I'm grateful I don't have the google searchbar (yet) *ramps up pop-up blocker*

And yes... where is the points to np ratio? Hmph.

hey, they changed it so you can send 5 scores now! sweet

the new look games room is a bit tacky, but I don't really mind. what's with the games master though? is there a point to him or is he just there for novelty's sake? :roll:

Maybe he's a new BattleDome Challenger that one will get randomly while clicking through the Games Room.

Someone mentioned earlier it had been changed to 5 times...that must have been temporary, because it's back down to 3 now

They forgot to put a link for Favorite Games on the Main Page and tehy didn't update the Favorite Games page...oops on their part...

We will probably get a little game plot or maybe a new contest to celebrate the new layout. It's weird but it seems like neopets is doing a lot to take our minds off plot prizes.

You've been able to send 5 scores a day all week. It's a neopets birthday event

The 'number of scores' was removed form your "my scores" table. tsk.

It would be nice to see a box for 'My Favorites' on the main games.room screen.

What do all those different medals mean on each game?

I love that the (top 5?) games are listed in the box on the front games.room page. yay for shortcuts.

like everyone else, "boo!" to the disappearance of the score/points ratio, unless they've changed it so all the ratios are 1:1.

Well, I can deal with the ugly layout, and the bad organization. I guess I'll get use to that. But what's really irking me is the lack of the points ratio, that was important to me. And the ability to lower the quality. While I personally don't need that, luckily my computer's pretty good, I can sympathize with people who needed to lower the quality in order to play some games. That's just not cool for them to take that away!

If you're going to revamp, and so called improve something, you shouldn't take away functionality of it!

Harumph. I've just played The Wild DVD Revealing Image and when I send score, it keeps giving me the message 'Your score is being reviewed by staff, if it is deemed valid you will receive your neopoints and go into the hiscore table' - anyone else got this?

Edited to add: This problem only seems to be occuring with the sponsor games - how rude!
