Vampire: The Masquerade Roleplay

Ok, let's keep it short and simple. I am interested in running a game of Vampire the Masquerade Roleplay (henceforth referred to as V:tM). I need players. Rauven started a V:tM RP a while ago, in which I joined, but unfortunately his pc blew up and, as a result, so did the RP. He should be back around X-mas, but to have to finish the introductions then and start just does not seem like an inviting prospect.

So, I have decided to take matters into my own hands. I will start a V:tM RP, with a combination of rules published on the internet and rules of my own making. I need players, let's say a minimum of three and a maximum of five (roughly). It will be the players' choice whether the characters start out as vampires, whether the RP picks up right before the characters become vampires, or whether large parts of the characters' human lives are played out. This will be decided democratically.

If you wish to take part, simply post that you wish to take part, and post what kind of roleplay you would like. However, just because I do not wish for you to post your character yet, does not mean you should remain idle. If you wish to join, it may be a good idea to read these rules (not only the rules, but the background as well). Keep in mind that I might change the Clans' Strengths' and Weaknesses.

One player has already agreed to join, Immortal_Z.
Remember: Experience is a bonus, not a must! Even if you have never roleplayed before, if it looks like fun, post that you would like to join! We'll get you through this! Also, I do not want you to post your character just yet, but I would like that you posted what Clan you would like to be in. Post a first and a second choice, as I might restrict one clan later.

The linked rules only allow for them, but I'll say it again, in case anyone has a rulebook at home: Camarilla vampires only!

I want to join! I like this kind of thing....

You should probably start from where the person has already been a vampire or something.

Glad to have you, Jocelyn. So your choice would be to start out as a vampire? Ok. Any ideas on a first and second choice for a Clan?
I advise you to read through the entire linked rules, which shouldn't take more than an hour, and once you have, you can post your Clan choices here. I'd rather you edit it in your original post than make a new post about it, so that we can keep everything fairly organised.
But anyway, that makes for two players already, so, come on, no shyness, no thinking you can't roleplay - if I say I want players then that means I'm willing to make an effort to help them through it as well!

clans: Malk or Nosferatu. perferable malk, I like malks

lets play the embrace out, but not the players life before the embrace.

In fact...since I can't decide what clan to be...I'll have two characters...I'll hate that later...but whatever

Well, i'm back, but since no-one is really interested in continuing that lost rp, i'll seat in the back-seat! count me in.

I'm a Ventrue (ohh, big shock lol)

Hi! I'm new to the PPT forums, but definitely not new to V:tM...if you have room for another, I'd love to join in

Is it too late?

By far my favorite plan to play is Toreador, but if you already have too many kindred of the rose then I would also be fairly happy with Brujah or possibly even Tremere.

I'd prefer starting shortly before the embrace, but any time is fine with me really.

Hey-hey! GM here! Loving to see so much players here, and especially glad to see Rauven back!

ATM my computer is still in shambles (quoth Blackadder: 'Do you know what irony is, Baldrick?'), but I'm working on it, and a week, two tops, should see me back from the dead. I'm very much hoping that my entire harddrive isn't wiped, but most of it is stored in me head anyways. Also, if everyone is serious about playing here ( I know Z, Queen and Rauven are, I hope you are too, Mnemosyne) I think I'll be closing applications now, unless you can be very convincing (and no, that doesn't mean having to have experience, just be serious about it). Jocelyn, if you still want to play, I suggest you make at least one post on the thread. Not a PM, a post, and post what clan you'd like to play.

Also, everyone, we still have to vote when to start out the RP (pre-embrace, after-embrace, large part of the character's lives played out). My vote is for pre-embrace, but you're the players, so my vote doesn't count. It's your game. Lastly, I may change some of the Clans' weaknesses and strengths (meaning I will alter them as best as possible from how they are given in the basic rules I linked to to reflect the 'true' strengths and weaknesses)

Good to hear back from you! I'm definitely still interested.

I am fine with whenever other players want to begin, but I generally prefer to play through the embrace so beginning shortly before that would be my preference.

I'll join, if allowed. And as a Toreador. I vote pre-embrace as well. I pretty much want the same character as last time, if I am not too late. I check every day, so not to worries about my seriosity.
