I'm not a big fan of it. At all.
I'm OK with u instead of you, lol, etc. But when u typ liek dis and dont seem 2 have ne gramar skillz, that bugs the crap outta me. <_<

I hate it. Absolutely despise it.

I'm also more likely to mock someone who uses it, even if they have a decent point.

On that note.. people who deliberately mispell things such as "boi" and "gurl" I find stupid. It's the same number of letters, and it's not worth the effort. Don't even get me started on someone who was asking me about my "hollerdayes".

Don't really mind it. Most of my friends from outside t'internet use alot of 'u' and 'ne' and 'nd', so I sometimes catch myself doing that when I talk to them.

I hate it. The only thing I will use are the acronyms like lol, rofl, etc. Other than that, I never use it.

I especially hate it when it's used on forums. The point of a forum is to talk with people and have semi-intelligent conversation. In IMs, I'm not that annoyed, but meh.

I hate it. I'm fine with some abbreviations though, like lol, brb, or g2g. I use those sometimes, but if ur typin lyk dis all da tym i tink ur lyk 10 years old, lolz. i aLsO hAtE tHiS kInD oF tYpInG.

It hurts my eyes

But I do use "rofl" a lot... which I can hardly call chatspeak, but...

I hate it when people send me texts and write "cumming" instead of "coming"... it's a character difference and the proper spelling is shorter :roflol:
