Oh, and since I forgot to contribute to the "serious" side of the thread, my list is very similar to Ginger's:

Get a Job
Payoff my College Debt
Self-Taught Martial Arts
Fitten Up a Bit
Get my Driver's License (since I don't like driving, but at least I'll have the option if I want to)

In that order

Oh...the serious side? Wasn't aware there was one. Here it is then:

-Lose a little weight (I'm seeing a trend here)
-Plan and have a wonderful wedding
-Get a very part-time job to help pay for stuff

Ok yeah: Do well in my AS exams, get a job, save up for uni, splash out on either a Wii or some computer upgrades and some other stuff which I haven't decided yet.

Well, not quite a new year's resolution, since I've changed it already, but I recently switched to 1600 by 1200(max on my computer)

As far as new year's non-monitor resolutions, I'm going to try to be more responsible time-management-wise.

My new years resolution:

Lose weight before I get married in the summer (ooh I am original :P)

Try to do more than a month of an A-Level

(Includes the above) Finally get my life back on track after being diagnosed as bipolar a few years ago. My life's been pretty much on hold sice I got ill, but I'm determined to get back in control of it again and stop being controlled by my illness :)

My "real" resolutions:
-maintain my weight, but eat more veggies (my apartmentmates are total carbo-holics)
-complete grad school apps
-get a decent paying job so i can...
-move into an apt. with my boyfriend
and lastly...
-finish my 60-80 page thesis.

I'm going to set mine to 800x600, and then whine when webpages don't look decent (and when they try to blame it on my browser, state that their website should look good in all browsers and resolutions)

My New Years resolution is to study hard and to never stop speaking my mind (in a peaceful way of course).

My "real" resolutions:

Be more active on PPT this year. (I mean I had a month and 12 days gap between my posts in June and July this year. Then there is that 5 months and 18 days post gap of mine between my last post of 2005 in October 2005 to my first post of 2006 which was at the end of March.)

Somehow someway getting a quote of mine printed in a Pink Ink issue and having just one quote of mine in their PPTers Say The Darnest Things article. (Without it I personally feel like I am a Jabberjaw as at the end of the day all I want do is to gain some recognition here and not feel like I'm invisible.)

To get around to posting my Randomness profile on Randomness. (Which I am still working on.)

I'm going to get used to using my laptop on 1280 x 800 resolution, but I'm keeping the family desktop at 800 x 600 for the sake of the family's delicate sanity.
For regular resolutions, I'm going to start flossing and work harder at school.

Thu Dec 28, 2006 9:21 pm

Resolution staying the same (Whatever it is, I haven't the foggiest to be honest)

As for serious:

1: Don't die.
2: Find something constructive to do with my temper, has become a very real problem this last year.

Thu Dec 28, 2006 11:01 pm

I'd like to not die in 2007.

...And get a pony.

Thu Dec 28, 2006 11:23 pm

God knows what ever my monitor is set at now, but I'll probably keep it that way. This year, I'm aiming to:

    Be more organized
    Learn to say no
    Think before I do
    Be myself again
    Finish my website
    Write a journal

Mine's always been 1024x768 and I can't go bigger so...

yeah

1024x768 :)

Hrrrmmmmmmmmmm... in 2007 I'd like to stop daydreaming in school. And keep my sanity before my GCSE French oral results come back. Yeah.
