Are you addicted to the Food Network? If so, what are your favorite/least favorite shows?

I'm a big Rachael Ray fan. :D She's pure genius. Who knew you could cook something that fancy is less than 30 minutes?
Can't stand her talk show, though. srsly.

We usually have similar taste in people, but Rachel Ray gets on my last nerve, she tries waaaaaaaaaay too hard to be likeable.

I do love the Iron Chef challenges, and the Cake/Pastry/Sugar challenges, my mom was on one a while back, but she didn't win lol.

I like $40 a day, and 30 minute meals is so-so, but her talk show really is unbearable.

I do love love love Alton Brown though, basically everything he's on. Especially, Good Eats and Iron Chef America (Which I like slightly more than the originial, mostly cause it's not dubbed heh)

I'm also addicted to Ace of Cakes and Unwrapped.

Rachael Ray.. on $40 A-Day when she eats something and goes,"MMM, MHMMMMM" it drives me crazy. :o

NeoPet_Online, which one was your mom on? :D

I like Unwrapped too if they talk about something intresting, but once on Iron Chef America the secret ingredient was like catfish or something.. the bad part was is that they were alive in a tank, and they reached in and this guy took one and it was wiggling and he chopped its head off and it made me sick. o_o

I watch Iron Chef (Japanese one) and the Iron Chef USA sometimes. More the Japanese version.

But I used to love watching a show called "Dinner Takes All" with 5 contestants and each contestant hosting a dinner party each day. At the end of the party, the other contestants would rate them and the person at the end of the week with the highest number of points would win $1000.

It used to come on everyday but I never see it now; I'm very sad.

Wait, maybe that's where I saw it. TLC, not the Food Network.

Either way, I don't see it anymore!

I LOVE the show Ham on the Street! :D

I used to really like Rachel Ray but now that I've been able to watch her more she's really annoying and sometimes on her 30 min meals show it seems like she just slops stuff together.

Emeril is probably my least favorite chef.

The original Iron chef totally pwns the Iron Chef America. It was so much more fun to watch, and I loved it because it was dubbed. They were much more creative then any of the other Iron chefs (and nobody EVER chooses Morimoto on the show when he was on it. He rocked).
I hate any show with Bobby Flay. He is far worse then Emeril, and I love it when he loses on Iron Chef America. He was so bitter with what happened against the original iron chefs that he challenged and challenged and challenged until he won. And now he acts like some silly big shot? Psh. Whatever.

Alton brown really is the bomb though. I loved his show on road food, and I do love Good Eats. I also love the guy from Ham on the Street. That shows also quite a bit of fun to watch.
