enough already with MS IE, with one accidental click, it upgrades my windows media player (dont need it go away) which causes havoc with my internet explorer settings (stop it) so I can't play any games.

Hello, firefox! Hey, it's so much faster! And the ad blocker really blocks ads! Neopets is lots faster without alll the ads downloading

Not to mention -- LESS SPYWARE AND ADWARE get through! (Not perfect though, SpyBot and AdAware still find stuff when I run them.)

Firefox rocks. I hate IE, and swear by Firefox. I also have SeaMonkey and K-Meleon... K-Meleon is a lot like Firefox... however, Firefox is my favourite.

Oops, I meant to put it in the context of how much nicer it is for the neopets site, in particular the lack of ads and the speed which are important to some parts of NP.

IE brings back so many memories I almost become nostalgic...

Anyway, once I became a teenager I started to get mad at it so I use firefox now.

I use IE if I have to, but I want to keep the past where it is

The only thing I use IE for now is the auto-login from MSN for my hotmail account. ^^; Apart from that... Firefox all the way. Neopets looks so much nicer without that huge banner up the top.

I've also tried to get my family using Firefox because it's safer... try instructing a 60-year-old in tabbed browsing and the different look. (Nah, my dad's pretty good about those sorts of things - he uses Excel to run his business and despite his leaning to typing with two fingers is an excellent Word and Solitaire player. And he understands viruses and spyware!)

I think it was Neopets which actually made me shift to FF in the first place...I was so damn honking mad (still am, actually) about all those huge banners and paid ads that I wanted some way to block them.

I also use IE for Hotmail. Does anyone else find IE to be generally more reliable for Hotmail?

It may not have been the direct reason, but it's because of Neopets that I use Firefox as well. I joined PPT to maintain my Neopets interest, and everyone here was saying "Firefox kicks IE's metaphorical butt six ways from Wednesday!" so I looked into it.

I use FF, because I became addicted to the tabs before IE 7 came out. Though I broke it earlier today loading all the 'free neopoint' links XD

You know how on the trading post it's annoying to have to check 10 boxes if you're filling up a trade? This lets you shift+click to get them all in one go. I just saved myself 90 clicks of the mouse when I traded 100 bottles of sand to a friend. It's a good thing.

Snapper is great for getting screenshots. Click and drag a box over the part of the screen you want and it pops up the Save As box and you're ready to upload it to your image host.
