Scourge of the Lab Jellies

#1 Post by anjuna »

I am enjoying this new puzzle game very much. Does anyone know if there is a 'cheat' code available for it? As in 'type catapult for a free power up in Ultimate Bullseye' kind of cheat. Just to be clear. ;)

How'd you get to it? I can't find it in the Games room anywhere.

It used to be searchable but now it's not. Silly TNT.

But if you have already played it, just go to your Games Scores and click on it from there.

Sorry Anjuna, I don't know any cheats for it, I wish I did. I like the game but my scores on it are pathetic. :)

Scourge of the Lab Jellies

I just have all my favorite everythings linked in a folder for my browser. To heck with the Toolbar and the Games Room. I hate the new ID system.

It may be so new that it doesn't have one or no one figured it yet? I just wish I could get so lucky a game as to get like two dozen bombs. Or clear the whole board once in a game. That would be nice.

What's your high score in it? I got as high as 2,000 before I lost. I've been focusing on making the longest chains possible instead of as many as possible. It could be killing my game, I don't know.

5,000 (avg. ~ 3-4k) but that was a "lucky" (albeit a little skilled, if I may say so) game 8) but I do admit, to achieve a High Score of 7,500 (to get in the top 100) or 10,000 (to get a trophy) seems 'far-out', and I just have a hard time believing that there isn't some 'cheat'ing going on LOL. I realize I am not MENSA material (although they asked me once as a kid, I never took it seriously .. um, oops?) and my 'savant-like' brain abilities have even deteriorated since then  but then I start to think, either people play 24/7 in hopes for 20 bombs or else are actually manipulating code. You would either have to clear the whole board half way through or else get twice as many bombs as the 'average very lucky game'. So what's up?

On a semi-related note, I have the same 'skill/trouble' with Escape to Kreludor (and Ultimate Bullseye, *hangs head in shame with 'pitiful' scores averaging 80-100++*). :P Can win in a WC, almost got a Bronze trophy once in Escape to Kreludor, but otherwise, even with mostly skill and a LOT of luck, I can't get double or triple a 'very good score' by 99% of 'other people's standards. Luck or skill? o_O

Bah, I just rant because I am frustrated I cannot beat my own High Score(s).

I'm not really too too fond of this game. It reminds me a whole lot of Popcap.com's game "Atomica" which I was addicted to for a long time, so to me this game is a little too hard.

Here is Popcap's game.

Well, I still love the game and yes please do post a 'cheat' code if you find one or hear of one. I at least managed to beat my own 5,000 but I think to get a trophy I might have to .. like, kidnap the top 10 gamers at the beginning of next month and deprive them of playing ... or something. :P

I've heard (from a fairly reliable source) that there *is* a code for this game (I think it's this game anyway...), but I don't know what it is.

Hey, I'll go in on that with you if we can hit up the top ten from Pteri Attack as well. ;)

Does anyone have any strategy hints they'd like to share with us?

I could not for the life of me figure it out.

According to the ~My_First_Little_Pony webpage typing boomshaketheroom will generate bombs. I tried it and it seems to work.

ooh, thanks, I'll try it!

What about actual gameplay strategies? like, try to group all the jellies from a certain color into a certain area, or make sure you delete a set of jellies every time no matter how many you group up... or something. please note, don't actually try the suggestions above if you want to win the game; i am awful at it!! i was just giving samples of the KIND of idea I'd like from someone else! :)
