I think that they changed that is because Neopets constantly reinforces that the "Earth" animals do not exist on Neopia, and no one really knows about them.

What was that certain well-known island fruit? I'm curious.

I don't think there are any fansites that list all the item changes so I can't check.

The fruit, when discussed, gets into a rather inappropriate reference that really shouldn't be repeated. Prolly not best to get into it.

You've peaked my interest. And now I'm going to obsess for days, wondering what the well-known island fruit is (which is CLEARLY not well-known if I don't know it! ).

And as far as REAL animals go, isn't there a wolf staff or something with the word wolf in it? Or was it an Eagle Staff....I KNOW there are still items that reference real life animals!

Did they change the entire item with the fruit or just the picture or name?

I was actually a bit curious why they'd allow the word "brandy" on the neopets site since that IS a kind of alcohol. It would only make since that they would remove it. Some of you are saying stuff like it's nonalcoholic but think about that, ALL of the products are nonalcoholic you can't actually get drunk off of the wine for example.

hmm I wonder why neoitems doesn't have the new picture for it.
