Any ska fans out there? I personally like Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris, The Aquabats, and a load of others.

I only know of a couple songs by the Aquabats, but they're hilarious! Pizza Day and Pool Party. Great songs.

I used to listen to Reel Big Fish and Save Ferris way back in the day when they were first on the radio. I don't listen to ska so much anymore, but I do enjoy it. I think the best band falling into the ska category would be The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, who are awesome, especially live.

Having some ska in my life is good. I have a few songs by the Mad Caddies and Reel Big Fish. But I have to admit, I love ska covers of pop music (e.g. Mustard Plug's version of "Freshman").

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

I like Mad Caddies, too. Weird Beird is great. :)

I also like their pop covers. Reel Big Fish's 'Walking on Sunshine' is my favorite cover. It's pretty much tied with 'Come on Eileen'.

Covering 'Come on Eileen' is just pure madness. That song ought to be unsullied by such things as cover versions. For shame!

My Aquabats collection is embarrassing.

I even have an mp3 of some 20-minute radio show they did fighting the evil GWAR....freaking hilarious.

I also like Less than Jake, Mighty Mighty Bosstones...

I had a Cherry Poppin' Daddies CD stashed somewhere....

What little ska I've heard, I have forgotten. I guess I'll just have to check some of these out.

Pizza Day is AMAZING. It's true though. Friday=Pizza Day. Now and forever.

My brother is personal friends with Streetlight and they're around a lot. It's always really weird to hear people say they're fans of them. I'm always just like, "Oh yah, that's right. They aren't just the guys that party with Scott."

Operation Ivy is the bestest though. Bombshell, baby.

I used to be really into ska and ska punk a few years ago now but then I just drifted away from it. The Aquabats, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Operation Ivy are some of my favourites. :)

Oooh and I love The Specials (*points at badge*) and the whole 2 Tone offshoot of ska. :D
