PetPet Battles Worth It?

I happily battled with my petpet up to level 7...and there it has sat for SIX MONTHS! I can't get any further whatever happens. Is this just my fate?

Is there any point to playing petpet battles or has its day been and gone really?

I would think, that if there was a purpose of petpets being useful in the battledome, then Petpet Battles would be useful.

I think Petpet Battles is just for fun really

They do come into the BD sometimes,they don't do much though.
