Wow, let me think about this. I had shelves and shelves of children's books that were read to me.
I remember I was read The Hobbit a lot so I must have really enjoyed that. The Babysitters Club, and Nancy Drew books also. As for picture books, probably Bugs Bunny's Carrot Machine, and The Wind in the Willows.

hmms, well lets see. As I had at least two books read to me every night when I was little there's a lot of fond memories.
But one of my favorites and the one with the best story attached was "There's A Train Going By My Window." My dad was going out of town for a while so he taped himself reading it and a few others so every night I could have him read me a story even if he wasn't there.

My mom started reading it to me when I was 2 and when I learned to read I literally read it over and over until it fell apart.
