Only in Australia (or some other places like Germany) she can buy alcohol I don't think in the US. Not sure where she is from, but yeah. Just qualifying.

And the UK

And in Spain, you can drink from whatever age as long as you look older than 16

In Germany you can buy alcohol from most establishments at 16 which I think is crazy

Thank you for the food and wishes, everyone! I did have a really lovely birthday, thanks to all my friends. I can't quite believe that I'm eighteen either!

I can now drink, drive (not at the same time), pay taxes, vote, go to jail, get married, donate blood, donate my organs, sign my own life away... Alcohol's wasted on me though.

I'd also like to extend a great big thank you to everyone who has been a part of my life until now. I've been coming on PPT since I was thirteen and a half, so it's probably a fair statement to say that some people have been watching me grow up. It doesn't feel like it's been four or so years, but PPT has definitely made a significant impact on my teenage years. There has been more than one person here who has changed my perspective on different issues. Thank you for that.
