C'mon, everybody has one. Mine would be either Geno from Super Mario RPG, or Gau from Final Fantasy 3. Who's yours?

Well, Kefka's high up there, so's Kratos Aurion, and Mithos Yggdrassil. I simply must put Fighter up there (sword-chucks!), and... Hmm, Mewtwo, since he's just totally awesome, and all of the Cids. There's others, but that's what immediately immediately comes to mind.

Oh, and Mr. Thou. And Locke is the funniest character ever (treasure hunter, darnit!) and while not nearly as cool as Kefka, Sephiroth deserves a spot only because he destroyed a lot of stuff. Oh, and FAWFUL! "Fink rats! Have you readiness for this?"

I agree with the first, not so much with the second.

Presea was almost as original as Zelos, and Zelos was freaking STUPID.

Actually a nifty character, but there was literally nothing behind the backstory; she was just a character filling a role. An amnesiac drone is kind of stupid. Especially if they act emo later on because no one likes them.

Deekin, The lovable Kobold Bard from Neverwinter nights.
His warcry has me in giggles, He becomes incredibly hard in time (Half dragon because of the good old Dragon disciple class in Hordes of the Underdark) and he's a friggin Kobold!

How can you not love him.

Yuri - Shadow Hearts 1 & 2

What a good RPG character should be like, not stuck with some lame niche personality (the hero, the love interest, the silent protagonist, etc.) He's got the serious side, the hilarious and sometimes perverted side, the "evil" (more like anti-hero") side, plus many more. He's got more than one type of personality, and is actually *gasp* interesting (though I find the other characters are more memorable in Shadow Hearts 2, since they're freaking hilarious). I wish the FF series would actually come up with a pretty good character, and a bit more personality into their characters. :\ The closest they've come is FFT.

Saying that, maximised, enlarged Fireballs are quite fun. (90 fire damage, not all that much truth be told, but who cares, it's a seventh level spell)
