I was actually a wee bit scared when I saw those eyes staring at me from the news page.

And now all I can think is, "Tell me what I am not prepared for oh giant meepit!" I'm going to hold my horses and not say that I am impressed with TNT, because I'm sure they will find a way to fail me..but I am intrigued.

I don't think TNT would be as obvious as relating a meepit related thing with a giant meepit, that'd be far to obvious, theyve told us to be looking for clothing updates in the news in last week's editorial so Im expecting something with that

Actually.... i AM impressed! After reading the old news, and seeing the way TNT acted, i sorta feel bad to be only 13 months in Neo... But this was unexpected! GO TNT!

I wonder if there was a first person to come up with the idea, or was it something we all collectively picked up on? A bit of research would be nice, if anyone wants to actually read back through the times and find out.

Somehow I always remember al_the_chia as the first person who wrote about evil meepits attacking in the Neopian Times, I remember one of the stories had fluffy the crobrall saving Al the Chia from evil meepits....but i may or may not be right, although he WAS the writer who started the Lupe Chia debate.... if anyone else remembers?

I just had to laugh at that.....montrous meepit of doom, i mean peace... I hope it really does mean something as big as the Meepit

I remember Al the chia. Maybe it was them. Well anyway, so many people picked up on the idea, that it is nearly common knowledge now that meepits are evil, so it is no wonder that the staff would finally have to just embrace that too.

With all this talk about evil meepits, I'm getting worried there's gonna be a war...

I'm using an imac with Safari, and I can't battle, it won't let me select any weapons to use, and it's hard to kill an opponent using just Uni Slap :roll:

Anyone else on a mac?

Uhm, I know I am tired. And the meepits are mesmerizing, but anyone else notice that the 'scene' in the meepits eye changes? I 'refreshed' the news page by clicking on the news link again, and it was different.

EDIT: Oops, wait, I think it is my screen. My video card sometimes does weird things when I have a video on and some backgrounds are clear.

I'm on an iMac, and I also use Safari...and I can battle just fine, no problems here. o_O

Is everything updated? Did you install anything recently?

EDIT: Random thought - could it possibly be that they're just messing with us and laughing at all the people crying, "OMGPLOT!" and there's not really anything ready yet?

"you are not prepared" makes me think maybe you need to have something specific in inventory to "be prepared"... but what??? hmmmmmmmmmm

I'm not sure... it's only about 3 months old so it should be up to date. I wonder if I need to install something that's not installed. Some of the games tell me I need to install shockwave, maybe that's it? If you have any more thoughts on it, would you mind PM'ing me?

I did the 'pink meepit IS the news?' then misread the text as 'you are not prepaid.' and had a 'what?' moment... overall I find it kinda funny yet boring at the same time....

but above all
