Extracting songs from iPod?

#1 Post by Dustin »

I have an iPod nano and I recently had to restore my computer, and had to do it before I had the chance to save all my songs on my computer. So, when I reinstall itunes is there a way to extract the playlist/songs off of my ipod? Or will I lose all my songs once I connect it? I really don't want to have to go through the trouble downloading all my songs again. But if I have to, I have to.

Not through iTunes, I don't believe. But if you don't mind voiding your warranty, there's plenty of programs that can get music off of an iPod.
