Now you get to fight the Petpetpet Horde!

...I seriously think they forgot about the clamshell last time...

No, I think the shell was just a way to keep us from boarding the ship until the characters did.

That's just what they want you to think :P Especially since we could get through that door before the characters did, and they didn't actually board the ship in the comic until a little later on. No reason to hold out on the clamshell unless they, being TNT, just kinda... forgot about it.

Anyway, sad to say that it does look like the plot is winding down, what with everybody jumping on the ship again. I guess they are making way for the Altador Cup...

Man! I got lost in my Temple of 1000 Tombs in the LD plot and couldn't go through that, and then I stop playing while ToW is going on... finally around for a not-purely-battle real plot and it's over within two months... *sniffle*

When you try again, get some better weapons. That blow gun is a 5-iconer; even the cheap-as-dirt Scarab Ring and Obsidian Dagger are better than that. Even better would be a Stone Club or Ice Club, or even an Earth Faerie Slingshot, Earth Faerie Bow or Tyrannian Lupe Tooth. Read my first post here for a list of good-value weapons, and search weapon names at The IDB for ratings.

I didn't have a chance against the monster, my pet only has 49 HP. So I stayed two rounds and the monster froze my pet. So I had to exit the battledome by clicking on a link in my favorites and working my way back to the status page to withdraw.

Would someone please talk to me about the frozen thing- There was a snowflake under my battle stats that said frozen on a mouseover. But I couldn't find any way to become unfrozen, and I couldn't find anyway to exit the battle. How do we leave a battle if we want to withdraw, or get frozen?

Being "frozen" means you miss one round. You can't use any weapons or choose an action.

If you get frozen, you can only click the "go" button and hope for the best (;)), or withdraw by visiting the status page. It's best when you can freeze him the same round he freezes you.

So... anyone have any battle tips, so that my weak as heck pets can survive at least ONE round so I can get some plot points? :)

What should I equip to HIT? What for defense?

Would my leaf shield, geraptiku talisman, scarab ring, and obsidian dagger be sufficient?

The petpetpet horde attacks berserk with no attack items on one move when I got froze by him(them). He wants to end the battle hastily.

Thank you, Moongewl and Cranberry.

I must have been too hasty. I didn't see the go button. Next time I'll know what to do.

I'd need your stats to really say, but most likely no. This guy has a 100% freezer, a full healer, and a full blocker, plus some hard-hitting weapons. My pet has the 250 boosts and some very good weapons, and I'm finding him pretty hard now at 30 wins (he's up to 900+ hit points).

Heh. This dude was a tough one. I managed to eeek out 5 wins with my lab pet. My 6th was a loss. I think I'm going to leave it there.

I was watching my husband fight (with a decently trained pet and decent weapons) and he was getting a great kick out of the dude using his jade scorchstone on the first round. Heh...it seemed to do that a lot for him.

Haha... I didn't stand a chance at actually winning... but my Geraptiku Talisman and Leaf Shield helped me survive three rounds. So, hopefully, I'll get some plot points for trying. :)

Eep! *cowers* Scary bugs... o.o My lab rat has never lost a battle (and I'd like to keep it that way) so I'm iffy about jumping into battle with em. Wish I wasn't at level 1 so that I could get a faerie ability or two to up my chances. Here goes nothing...

Edit: Hey, not so bad :) Though I'm certainly not a big fan of Jade Scorchstones at the end of battles, grrrr.
