Take the splinter out (that lake water does not look too germ-free) and patch it (the wound) up with leaves before you swim so you won't get an infection.

Might I point out a few errors in this? Im allready in the lake, and unless you are in a river which leads to a lake, its hard to swim over to the lake from in a lake, and as far as I know, dead fish cant flop very well.
