Approximately how often can I expect the alert on the neopets toolbar to go off with one of Tarla's giveaways?

Depends. It can go off multiple times in one day, then not go off for a week or two at a time.

mine are random from what I've seen, but I'm gone for 8hrs due to work so if I miss one i have no idea.
