I find three hour movies fine, though there was no story in Transformers.

That's not what I meant by epic. I meant it thinks it's supposed to be heroic and impressive in the style of Titanic or something similar. It's arrogant and annoying.

Can't we just go to a movie and be entertained instead of nitpicking the thing.

I thought it was awesome. There weren't that many cheesy lines, it was quite funny. The fight scenes were great. Yeah I had trouble keeping track of the bad guys while they were fighting cause they are mostly the same color and look alike when robots, but so what? I was majorly entertained. Thats what I look for in a movie like this. I'm not expecting some masterpiece on film but a really entertaining movie. I plan on seeing it again. Bumblebee was my fav. He had such a cute personality. Yes, a robot with personality.

I never watched transformers as a kid and the only ones I knew of beforehand were Prime and Megatron. Didn't take anything away from the movie.

I highly recommend it.

British? Do you mean the blonde hacker girl? She was very Australian XD

I'm pretty much with Susannahmio. I loved it. I hadn't watched the tv series as a kid, but had seen the movie a few years ago... and I was just hoping for an enjoyable movie with cool special effects - and that's what it was!

I was pleasantly surprised by the number of interesting characters, and also...
I wasn't expecting the whole "military" thing, for some reason, and thoroughly enjoyed it, much to my surprise (I usually hate the big guns army machoness in films). The main army guy was cool (and cute) ;)

Yeah, there was a bit of corniness. I found it easy to ignore, though.
