My bug report on Typing Terror... more bad words?

what about "urk"... perhaps the person who submitted that work was thinking of the word "irk".
"fil" is not an english word, although it may be an acronym for father in law.....
"esq" is an abbreviation, but without a period at the end (as in Esq.), it doesn't mean anything.

what about jorge (a proper name but not of any neo character), or adducers, or clearers... just because you replace a final e with "-ers" does not make it a proper plural noun, or edsger (i kid you not)

Sadly, a lot of the words in there are real words (adduce, nihility, eclat, batsman) that most americans would not recognize.
I understand they want to teach kids new words, but i believe that this dictionary is being shared with eliv thade... no kid will have a chance of unscrambling a word they (and many adults) have never heard of before. it's ridiculous.

Today, I got the word "uteruses" when I went to the final level. I was REALLY SHOCKED that they would put such a word in there. I've also had "flirters". "Xantan" comes up a lot (although, I'm not quite sure what it means). I'll be sure to jot down words that shouldn't be there the next time I play.

Then it bothers me when I play Word Poker, common words such as "nun" is not a real word. Is it due to the religious discretion? I got "Jewish" as a word on Typing Terror before though...

Talk about this game being Educational, Some of those word are not even real + there are teaching those younger children the wrong stuff. You are using Xatan in Neopets, But what about real world, Is there the word Xatan

At least Spell-or-Starve is might better educational game then this

The game teaches typing, not definitions. Also, Eliv Thade needs to defend against automatic anagram solvers. They really don't need to be real words - Neopian words are more than fair game.

About "Jewish" and "uteruses": in high school health in my purply-blue area of New York, we were taught that by 10 years old, a kid would be expected to be comfortable with both words. At the least, familiarized enough that there wouldn't be a "Daddy, what are uteruses?" blindsiding. I don't know what standards are taught in other places, but I assume they'd have to be close. A game shouldn't be a scapegoat for poor parenting.

Unless you think an 8-year-old can reach the level of Typing Terror that'd produce "uteruses"?

Well ....whilst I understand that it's just there as an example...
Even though 'jeerers' doesn't yield any results,jeerer does. It's in the related words list of jeer.

It's not listed whether 'jeerer' is countable of not - however, it'd be safe to assume that 'jeerer' is countable, and 'jeerers' is its plural form. [At least, microsoft word's spellcheck seems to agree with me]
