Trichinosis, also called trichinellosis, or trichiniasis, is a parasitic disease caused by eating raw or undercooked pork and wild game products infected with the larvae of a species of roundworm Trichinella spiralis, commonly called the trichina worm. The few cases in the United States are mostly the result of eating undercooked game or home reared pigs. It is most common in the developing world and where pigs are commonly fed raw garbage.

The species Trichinella spiralis is an important parasite, occurring in rats, pigs, and humans, and is responsible for the disease trichinosis. It is sometimes referred to as the "pork worm" due to it being found commonly in pork products that are undercooked.

It does work, however there is not enough evidence to say it works with Coke. I forgot with what chemical it works with though.

No . However some people do : some meats aren't cooked very well. Like rare cooked meat.

Modern farming methods have almost completely eliminated worms in pork. As Light's link showed, you only have to heat meat to 60°C to kill any worms.

But just the thought of them being there is gross enough for me.
