I buy all my music, singles and albums, off of iTunes. Occasionally I will buy a CD, but that's really only if it's convenient, because I find the albums on iTunes are cheaper. I will burn the albums from iTunes onto CDs so I have a hard copy though.

I just like how convenient the downloads are. And since my truck only has a cassette player, I can't use CDs. I can plug my iPod into an adapter that goes into the cassette player, and I use that often.

I only buy CDs if it's one of my absolute favorite bands, and I know I will listen to all of the tracks. Otherwise I just buy individual tracks off of Itunes. It's perfect for me, even before Itunes, I hardly ever listened to every song on a CD, unless I REALLY liked the band, so this way saves me lots of money.

I buy the album if it's in print, and collect CD singles for certain artists. Don't really bother with the online stores, but do p2p.

Download individual tracks is what I do. :D

I download individual songs from iTunes. But before then, I just bought the entire CD albums.

I only buy CDs for amazing bands that I think are worth it, and even then I usually won't.

I tend to buy CDs more than anything else. And find free downloads from legal places. This would be a lot better for me if: A. My iPod hadn't died, B. Most of my CDs weren't at the bottom of a box in a storage place, and C. I had a computer in my room.

I can hardly find the music I like on CDs, so I download individual songs. The last CD I actually bought was probably two years ago, and I have no memory of what it was.

I don't remember ever buying a CD, ever. Seriously, either it was a gift or something, but I don't think I have ever bought a CD before.

I download 90% of my music. I tend to download an artists' album, but don't really buy it unless I like a few of their songs.

I actually prefer to buy compilation albums instead of just an ordinary album from an artist.

I always buy CDs. I don't think I've ever downloaded music, actually. I like having the actual CD, and liner notes are <3, especially since a lot of the music I listen to, you can't find the lyrics online. Also, most of my CDs I buy straight from the artist, at concerts or festivals or somewhere, and I'd rather pay a little bit more to have it go to them and not some store or company.

i only ever really buy CD's of my favourite bands, singles aren't really worth it. I try not to get too many CD's since I already have a collection that could fill a really big room!
So I find downloading alot more convenient.

I'll usually buy the CD, but in the (Getting far more common as my taste broadens even further) event that I can't find it I'll have a look on iTunes.

Then put it on CD, thus bypassing Apples stupid anti piracy thing quite nicely.

I worked out that if I bought all the albums on my computer I would have spent $95,400 AU dollars

so I download a lot, but I still buy albums and EPs (never singles)

I bought 4 last week :D
