How long does it take for the PPL neopoints to show up?

Hi there -- I tried searching to see if this had already been answered, but if it has, I can't find it. Finally, after about 1100 days of having my bluna attached to my pet, it was chosen as the PPL for the week. But I'm unsure of how long it takes for the neopoints to show up and what form they take. Do you get a congrats letter or do they just pop into existence? And when?

I've been fortunate enough to get PPL a few times, but never once received a neomail. The first time, it freaked me out, because the NPs showed up a day before the news posted. I thought there was something seriously wrong, because I *never* leave random NPs out. But yeah. They just pop into existence, usually within a day of the PPL being posted.

Haha, I didn't even realise my pet'd won it until a month later when I saw the trophy on the lookup. They really need to send out neomails XD

You'll see the trophy on your pet's lookup once they have sent out all of the rewards.

But I wasn't one of the top 50 people or so. I'd only had the bluna for about 3 years, and there were a lot of people that had it for much longer, so I don't think I can expect a trophy.

When I last won it the np was just there when I logged into my account. I'm not sure if I checked on the exact day the news came out though. It wouldn't have been more than two days after I know that... It's possible they're just slightly late crediting people? You might want to send a bug report as it's a couple of weeks late.

Also is it painted at all? That affects it. The colour they state is the one that wins, any other colour doesn't.
